And I, once again, have lost 1,000 points earned in that silly quiz thing last December. Yes, it did inspire me to book some stays (and therefore generate some loyalty) in order to make my points up to something worth redeeming them for. I'll wait a few days and see if they manage to sort out their utterly crap IT. Am I the only one to think that anything to do with the internet is really rubbish, works only part of the time, and is so insecure that even a child of 3 could hack it? Man, we desperately need new technology worth of the hype that this crap is marketed with.

yes, I had this issue several times but after cleaning (caches cookies etc...) and restart the browser that disappears.

Does anyone else find that quite often when searching for hotels on the App, it just freezes while searching and never actually loads the list of hotels at the location you search for and sometimes it just crashes but most of the time you need to reset the App. It gets rather annoying after 5 or 6 times with no success.

Also, I find that it would have been better to have '2 adults' as the default booking setting. Logic suggests that if you're booking for 1, it's not a problem if you book for 2 (if you forget to change it) as the vast majority of hotels charge the same price for 2. But if you are booking for 2 and accidentally forget to change it from 1 adult to 2, then turn up at the hotel and they then charge you extra as they say you booked for 1 only. I think this has happened before but once again no thought has gone into this.

Also, why isn't there Accor Plus room redemption on the App?

One welcome thing is the ability to change the currency - it got rather annoying to get rates in GBP when I registered my account in Hong Kong. But now it seems to remain in HKD which is great - better late than never.

Anyway, much better than a few years ago but there are still improvements to be made.

I don't have problems with the apps (iOS). They often work better than the desktop site.

At a few hotels, room rates are different when booked for 1 or for 2. So you might want to double check just to be sure

Similar problem here: "Your identification is not valid; please re-enter your details or contact your sales representative."

Which identification? I'm logged on OK and my account info shows correctly.

I've cleared my cookies and restarted the browser (two different ones). Still get the same error!

Does Accor want my business?

-- Henry

EDIT: Fixed it! I logged off, did the search to find the hotel, then logged on again before clicking "Show Rates." However, the site is - once again - not accepting AMEX for payment (it's a UK IBIS hotel).
