Indeed, we have Mercure mysteriously not participating in Le Club but also when I am looking for a hotel on the Accor website I don't want to see in second place an "partner hotel". What kind of nonsense is this, especially in a city where there are 60
hotels on offer.

More grief
...
Tried to book an IBIS in Bangkok, using 8,000 points in part payment. After refusing my stored card (AMEX), I selected MasterCard and filled in the details ...
... "Sorry, the process cannot be completed!"

But - they successfully completed the removal of 8,000 points from my account!
I guess the Hilton group will be seeing rather more of me next year!

I don't "feel" very "welcome" when I can't log in to my account. It used to do so automatically after I enter the Accor site from any point, and I have their cookies on a whitelist to save, and there are multiples there. But, click log in -- nada. Dead. And darn! I was just about to spend a couple hundred in Hong Kong. I want something confirmed. Now. Problem will be going in and canceling the tentative reservations I already made on Accor. I assume I'll be able to get into my account in time, some day, before 2 weeks have passed.
Maybe I'll try logging in from my confirmation emails.
A dead Log In button... Sheesh!

On the other issue: My 16,000 points did reappear; it seems the problem is that the particular IBIS in Bangkok does not accept pre-payment with AMEX and does not accept pre-payment with MasterCard (which only leaves VISA - and I neither have nor want one).
Bah!

I shall be looking to spend what points I have, then start looking to a hotel group that has: (a) a website that works; and (b) a sensible credit/debit card policy.
It's actually a great shame because, in the vast majority of my Accor stays over the past 4 or 5 years, I have been extremely satisfied with the price/quality ratio of their hotels, I have found the hotels (especially the Mercure brand*) very pleasant, their staff are almost always very helpful and friendly, and I have been given many, many room upgrades at check-in as a Gold/Platinum member.

* Also, I find the IBIS (normal, not Styles or Budget) perfectly acceptable for short (2/3 night) city breaks - especially with their new beds and pillows!

Solution to log in problem. And maybe I should remember this, or maybe I shouldn't have to. Adjust the screen zoom from 150% down to 125%. At 150, the entire personal logged in account information ON THE TOP LINE disappears. IT guys -- is this best practices? Making vital information disappear out of sight on certain devices? Shouldn't you display in some of that vast central space you have flashing repeatedly your grandiose "offer" photos?

Since yesterday the website doesn't show my status info nor my points history. I tried several browsers, but no luck. That's annoying because I am waiting for the outcome of several missing points claims.
Anyone else having the same issue?

Meanwhile all four missing point claims have been resolved. However the points history still doesn't show in my account, and neither does my account status. Is anyone able to see the points history? I am trying to figure out whether this is something generic or just related to individual accounts.
