Based on the numbers above, it appears that it should have been:

4050: $459
4550: $516

First 550 is $56 and then it alternates increasing by $58 or $57 for every additional 500 miles.

Don't know if this belongs here?
Upgrade to C from FRA to LAX
Was supposed to have cost me $375 + 20,000 miles.
GA ended up giving it to me for free.

Oct 7, 2008: NGO-SFO, I asked what the charge was for C to F, agent told me the price was 71,900 Yen($719), but I was not allowed to buy it as I was already upgraded to C. I would not have paid it anyways as the C cabin for the flight was quite empty, and F filled up with employees.

I have definitely done an UFC LAX-HKG on an L fare - don't know if it was legal or not, though.

Has anyone UFC in new international config?

Was just curious if anyone has been offered an upgrade for cash at the gate (and how much) for either Y-C or C-F in the new configuration international 777/747?

Yes - last month FRA-IAD (747 new config) they were offering Y-C UFC, can't remember how much they were asking.

I did Online check in. They offered me 450 Euros to go from W fare to Business Class on my CDG-ORD Tomorrow Morning. I declined as that is about 700 Canadian dollars qnd the ticket only cost me 900. Good Deal? Maybe.
