FYI, just got my Nexus card revoked for a border violation from 1993 I forgot to declare. When I was told of the revocation it took me hours to figure out what the hell happened in '93.
We were boating in L. Ontario and had severe weather...headed for nearest shore and tied up at a US dock without a water landing permit. CBP agent arrived with gun drawn and gave us the option to sign we entered illegally or go to jail for the weekend until a judge was in Monday morning. |
That sucks. Any appeal mechanism? Are you able to re-apply in the future after a number of years?

I called a US based immigration lawyer who was in the press for getting Nexus cards returned...he said he heard there were 50+ revocations in BC the past week, all for old violations that were undeclared. He said my appeal to the Ombudsman has a 75% chance of success and if not successful to appeal to the Regional Field Office where there would be a 75% chance of success. His fees are VERY reasonable for aiding in the process. Will update as things progress. |
It states he is a CAD citizen but when you apply you have to have been a resident (3 years) and presently a resident of Canada or the USA.
Though it may be a personal issue, it does have an effect on NEXUS holders. You can not be a resident of Dakar, Senegal and hold a NEXUS card. Though I am not a NEXUS holder as I am a non-resident, I think abusing the system is not right for honest NEXUS holders. Telling a bailiff (process server) you are a non-resident of Canada and yet you still hold a NEXUS card is illegal use of the card. We know he uses it to travel a lot stating residency in Canada. Like Revenue Canada or a few other agencies there are snitch lines. If he does not want to be served based on stating non-residency and in reality he abuses NEXUS rules, I am not looking for your opinion but I am looking for info where this man be reported for misuse of his NEXUS card.

In addition to what other posters have said on keeping personal matters off this board, I don't necessarily see that the above means that a Nexus card is being used illegally.
He lied to the bailiff, so what does that have to do with Nexus? |
Uh, the police?

NEXUS does not have a snitch line - and they shouldn't. Your problem will not be solved by creating havoc. Legal matters require the advice of professionals.

But telling something wrong to a bailiff is not. BTW if you don't want people's opinion, just refrain from posting on your personal life. :D |
One possibility here.

There are 2 convenient buses from Mississauga directly to BUF every day - something Megabus should get on - it wouldnt be so hard to add a suburb stop ;) |
