Enrollment on Arrival is a program operated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to allow Global Entry applicants who are conditionally approved to complete their interviews upon arrival into the United States or when using CBP Preclearance facilities. The Enrollment on Arrival program eliminates the need for a Global Entry applicant to schedule an interview at an enrollment center to complete the application process.
When landing in an international terminal follow the signage directing you to CBP officers who can complete your Global Entry interview during your admissibility inspection. If you require assistance for your Global Entry interview because of a disability, immediately inform the interviewing CBP officer of your need for a reasonable modification or auxiliary aid or service to participate in the interview. For your planning purposes, please understand that if you use EoA and are requesting a modification, aid, or service at that time and an effective modification, aid, or service is not readily available, the interview may be scheduled for a later date.

I completed my renewal through the Enrollment on Arrival option. After landing at T7 at JFK and clearing immigration, I asked the CBP officer who took my Global Entry receipt where to go. He directed me to the customs area, where a second officer promptly got a third officer. That officer opened up an immigration booth and conducted my interview. He took a new headshot and new fingerprints and confirmed my home address using my driver license. Then he approved my renewal and said a new Global Entry card would be mailed to me. Easy.
TLDR = new headshot, new fingerprints, confirmed home address; no questions about travel or anything else to indicate why an interview was required

I’ve just done the interview on arrival, still showing conditionally approved, but should I now cancel my already scheduled interview, or keep it until I see my status changed to approved?

Don't do anything - the system will automatically cancel your scheduled interview the instant you are approved.

Completed EoA during transit through Miami on 19th Dec. Worryingly I was directed to the regular non-US immigration queue despite explaining I wanted to do EoA, but at the immigration desk after stating I wanted to do EoA the CBP officer made a note on a post-it, stuck it to the passport and had a colleague escort me to a CBP office landside. Passport was taken to the back and I was asked to wait. Twenty minutes and another couple later I was called. Very pleasant and easy going officer. All simple questions as I recall. Asked whether my travel in Europe had been business or pleasure. Also asked about arrests and convictions etc. Repeated the statement I made on the application and officer made the comment that since the UK had cleared me there wasn't a problem. Took photo and prints, and once cleared was provided with my KTN. Approval email came a few hours later.
Was able to use GE during transit through JFK on my return, but a little disappointingly T8 immigration was almost empty at around 17:45, and then had to wait around 30 minutes for baggage. TSA Pre was a boon though, through in 5 minutes.

Interview had 0 questions, just redoing my prints and a new picture.
Took about 30 minutes as there were a few folks ahead of me.
Glad to be in the clear for another 5 years.

My son was conditionally approved on Dec 27 (six days after applying), but there weren't any interviews (ironically, a bunch just popped up in Atlanta this morning for late Feb/early March).
Anyhow, I got this massive email overnight (because, presumably, there were no interview slots and we hadn't scheduled):

I have an upcoming trip in April and my international arrival to domestic connection time is currently displaying as 3h 41m. I know CBP gets REALLY busy, with long snaking lines and I wonder if that is enough time?
I just got conditional approval. The only places near me where I could go for interview are SEA and PDX. SEA is showing no interview times available, while PDX is not until October 2020!

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the EoA takes place at DUB (or Shannon) airport? I'm planning on flying there from the UK and wanted to check that I could complete the interview at the airport without connecting to a US flight.

If you login to your account on the enrollment site, I believe you can see a list of all enrollment centers.

Thanks I had a look, but as it isn't a center and just does EoA I couldn't find anything, and the list of participating airports only list the airport address. Just wanted to check if I had to go within a 'pre-clearence' section for travelers going on to the US or whether I would find the EoA if I was only visiting Ireland.

Question for those who have done EOA at ORD recently.
Assuming my flight from LHR at the end of April lands on time (or maybe even early!) I'll have about two hours between flights and was wondering if this plan is even potentially doable.
Unfortunately I'll be in Y so I won't be one of the first to get to the FIS area but my plan was to head right to booth 58 and if there's nobody waiting or maybe only one or two waiting get in line. If there's more than two people waiting I'll probably head back to the GE kiosks and skip EOA as I figure I'll only have maybe 25-30 minutes before I have to start to worry about heading to T3 to catch my flight home. If by some chance the ATS is actually running by then that would give me close to an hour as I have pre-check and won't be checking any bags. Tentatively I'd be arriving at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday if that makes a difference. If all else fails I'll be visiting friends in Phoenix in the fall so I can schedule something at Sky Harbor if needed but I'd rather just get it over and done with if possible.

After about five minutes, one other gentleman who also had an interview and I were escorted to a waiting room. Fifteen minutes later I was escorted back to the regular entry area for the interview. The agent was friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her while she processed my application (new headshot, fingerprints and address verification). It took five minutes, tops. A very nice experience.
I received my new Global Entry card in the mail today, exactly one week later.
Overall, I'm thrilled with how easy and fast the process was.

Does anyone know if you can enroll upon arrival if you submitted your application but have not been conditionally approved? Seems like my CA is taking quite awhile.
