Day 130 today and still pending. Also - had renewed passport just few weeks ago, so not sure if that changes the approval timelines further. Was planning to update passport at the airport during trip to the airport next week.

Finally!
The charge for Global Entry hit my account on May 20, 2019. I received notification my status had changed on 30 Sep 2019 (133 days later). I have to have an interview for my renewal. The next available appointment is Jan 15, 2020 at Dullas International Airport (107 days and 160 miles away). <redacted>

A woefully inadequate column in LA Times this weekend:
http://enewspaper.latimes.com/infini...2-41b0a1a34295 It is being made clear that none of us should push, it will only make matters worse. |

I’ll assume you had no choice on renewing your passport but doing it while in the GE renewal process probably didn’t help matters. Not saying it did, it may not have any impact, but certainly a potential hiccup. The next few days could be revealing since at 130 days you’re in the zone where many here are getting approval.

Applied for renewal on May 21st.
135 days ago and nary a peep. |
Renewed the first day I could. Received notification that my renewal has been approved after 5 days of waiting. LAX.

As of today we are at 133 days and still “pending review”. Really had hoped we would have cleared the last couple of days based in other recent approvals but no joy. I have given up a long time ago trying to figure out the cause or causes of these long delays but it is frustrating. I have resisted escalating as it doesn’t seem to be doing any good but I am reaching the point where I want to somehow complain. When I was in the government one of the ways we tried to ask/plead/beg for more manpower was to document backlog, delays, and sometimes resulting complaints. Kind of the squeaky wheel gets the grease approach.

After submitting my renewal request on 10/4, I casually checked this thread to see how many days I might wait for approval. Imagine my shock that many (most?) people were waiting 4-5 months for approval and some were required to schedule an interview.
I received my approval today 10/9, approximately three business days after submission. Your mileage may vary....... |
My mileage is varying.
Day 120 Pending Review Hubby and daughter got their new cards in 1 week each Theirs were due to expire in about 8-12 weeks, I applied a solid 5 months before expiry. Decided not to escalate now, but have marked calendar for Day 150, which will be well after expiry. Not so concerned with international arrival, but really need TSA-Pre to keep working. |
My renewal is due in January, and I'm just now getting around to filling out the application. HOWEVER, I would like some advice please.
My home may be selling at the end of this month, at which time I will need get a new driver's license (Moving out of state). I have put my new address (I've signed a lease) in the application since I have a lease I can show, but my driver's license in the application is still my old state and address. Is it better to submit now, and update the profile or application or bring the old voided license with my new one later? Or try to wait a few weeks to hit submit until I have a new ID? |

Gig103 - apply immediately, use your current info, don't change a thing, you might get your renewal in less than a week. Make sure all your mail gets forwarded when you move in case you end up in the 6th circle of Hell with those of us in the long queue. You can always change things on the site once it's approved, and if your card gets lost, that's easy enough to replace (although there might be an in person component involved).
