Data Point:
wife and I approved for renewal within 12 hours of each other. Applied June 11, so waiting time was 169 days (just short of 6 months).
No re-interview required.

Notifications came by email (so my logging once a week was pointless)

golly, I don't know what I would have done if it hadn't been for this thread.

Congrats, and I agree, this forum has been a lifesaver.
I'm on day 168.
Fingers crossed!
StanJ - any word? You're a day ahead of me.

Still in "pending" purgatory for me, but hope springs eternal, so maybe in the next few days??? Not sure how the holiday will affect things.

FINAL DATA POINTS: (!)

Question for those that were in long queue: How long did it take to receive your new card?

Thanks all, this forum has helped me keep it together for this!

Walked in to JFK for my renewal interview the afternoon of Wednesday, 20 November and the new GE card was in the mail this past Wednesday (27 November) … if no interview required I'd assume also the ~7 calendar day ballpark from approval would also apply. I seem to remember it was similar timing when I first applied for/was granted GE.

Success at Last!! 172 Days later
I think this is the record so far. If anyone eclipses that wait time, please post so I can pass the crown on to you.

Application date: June 11, 2019
Approval Date: Nov. 30, 2019
No Interview Required.
Processed through SFO

I was fully expecting an interview would be required as I had a renewal of my non-US 2nd passport, change of address, and change of employment status. Needless to say, no interview was a big relief.

My wife will be submitting her renewal soon, and it will be interesting to see how long her approval takes.

leavedacannoli Nov 30, 2019 4:34 pm

Congratulations, and hopefully your wife is re-applying 364 days before expiration...LOL

Well, I'm at 148 days, so it looks like I have a bit more to go, but hopefully before the end of the year, where I will hit 178 days. Hoping for no interview since all my international arrivals have come and gone for the near future.

Xyzzy Dec 1, 2019 11:30 pm

Well, the saga continues. As I wrote here a week or two ago, Mrs. Xyzzy was approved after ~130 days, and her account initially showed that no interview was required, We then noticed she was not getting Precheck. So I looked at her account again only to find that an interview n:rolleyes:w is required. I know what you are thinking. But I am completely sure I was looking at the correct data in the correct account when and it showed approved. Of course, no interviews are available any time soon at any airport we will be passing through. We tried to see if they would take her today at EWR, as we were there anyway. Despite being rather empty, they refused (as we expected).

Xyzzy - that's awful. Your post made me go back to double check mine, and this time I took pains to print out the notification letter that's on the TTP account, and mine says "you may start using the program immediately". Did your wife's notification of approval contain that sentence? Because if so, that means they really are just <redacted by moderator> with us all at this point.

Application date: 13 April
Interview date: 25 October at HNL
Still waiting for any change in status -- still says "wait for interview"

The email said she could do interview on arrival - but the on-line bits said the interview was done. Now it says an interview is needed. I'm n:ot sure what else to say about it.

I applied maybe 6 months before expiration (I was asleep at the renewal year), and was approved in 70 days.

Mine was set to expire next October. I submitted the renewal last Tuesday (11/26) and got the approval with no interview on Sunday (12/1) - about 11 months before the original expiration.
