Global entry application is still "Conditionally Approved" after interview

Hello,
My wife applied for Global entry, she had her interview 2 days ago and she was told to expect the card by mail in 7-10 days. However, her application is still Conditionally Approved and there is still schedule interview button.
When I get mine 5 years ago, my application changed to approved immediately ight after the interview.
Is this usual?

It happens every now an then.

Here are a couple of posts by a CBP officer from other threads:

If you're fingerprint results come back right away, then we can click approve.

If they don't (and that happens frequently, it's not personal, just the system itself), we usually go back to the application the next day whenever we have free time. With multiple days off and a list of others we have to go back and approve, it might take a few days until we get around to it.
If your wife does not get approved in a few more days, have her call the Global Entry Enrollment Center where she had her interview to check if the officer who interviewed her neglected click the approve button after the fingerprints results came back.

I did my interview on arrival at LAX on Jul 31st... my status has not changed yet. Is this unusual?

Yes, it is unusual; however, the Los Angeles Global Entry Enrollment Center is currently temporarily closed and that may account for some of the delay.

Please refer to the advice posted above.

Thank you. Didnít realise that, probably accounts for why the phone number for LA isnít answered.

@maninblack has been very helpful to other members in similar situations. You may want to send him a private message.

Sounds like midvid did the interview on arrival, not sure if LAX having their enrollment center closed would affect that. Maybe it would, I don't know.

edit: midvid, check your inbox

I had my interview at DFW on 9/16 and still Conditionally Approved. I've tried contacting the location but nobody answers the phone and the voicemail inbox is full so I can't even leave a message.

Forgot to welcome you to FT in my last post.

Most likely someone forgot to click "approve" button.

This is what most likely happened. I did mine at IAH 6 or 7 years ago. I couldn't get through to IAH office, so called AUS office. They looked, said ugh, "the agent didnt click submit," clicked submit and it updated while on phone to approved. Try calling a smaller airport with GE and you should actually get to talk with someone.

Thanks guys, I actually had a chance to stop by the airport over lunch today and they got it sorted out in a couple of minutes. Finally approved!
