Seattle applicants

Hi there, anyone in Seattle? I’m in Seattle and applied August 16th. My GE doesn’t expire until February. I was hoping applications are reviewed locally since the Seattle CBP always has appointments open. Thanks in advance.

I am glad I did this early. I require an interview and could not schedule one until November. If I cant make that one I still have time. Does anyone know if Fort Lauderdale does walk ins?

For indexing and future search purposes, please discuss this subject in the relevant thred:
At present, there are no data points for walk-in interviews at FLL.

Thank you for understanding,

Pleased to reply that I received my approval this morning. 2 business days turnaround in the JFK bureau.

Only sad that I didn't travel to more countries in the last 5 years.

I'm now on day 121. I applied for renewal two months before my expiration in July, but now it is September and I'm still waiting. Thankfully, they extended the grace period to a whole year for benefits. But, my passport expires in March, I just hope I can get GE renewed before then.

Given 121 days, you are likely to hear back in just a couple more days. Do check the web site since emails are hit/miss.

I check the website twice a day (in the morning and evening), I've never depended upon receiving an email since I know that is unlikely.

Same here. Today is day 100 for us. Figure another 25-30 days but I check twice a day anyhow. Mrs K who is up to her nose in the septic tank of work plus getting her masters even remembered to ask me if we’d gotten approval. For the delay to finally register with her tells me it’s been a long time.

Hi there, I'm in Seattle. I applied on May 15th, 111 days ago. I stopped by the Global Entry Interview office at Sea-Tac two weeks ago and was informed that I should be prepared for a 5 month wait.

Going through this thread from the beginning, you'll note that the review time is growing, not shrinking.

thank you. I was hoping applications are based on location but I’m sure it is not because appointments are available in SeaTac but applications are taking forever.

Filed renewal 5/17/2019 for 7/30/2019 expiration. Now 9/3/2019, 16 weeks, 110 days. Still listed as "Pending Review"

Yes wait times appear to be growing BUT that STILL doesn't explain why SOME people are getting renewed with no interviews within a week. Again, hubby and daughter, we all live in same city, travel together, re-applied together, they got theirs in a week post-renewal app. I am now on day 85.

Just got renewed! Only took 123 days  No interview required, thankfully, even though I had moved from Georgia to California. Interestingly, the "letter" informing me of my renewal (as noted on the Dashboard) comes from the Atlanta Georgia station where I originally interviewed 5 years ago. I'm just glad I don't have to re-interview anywhere!

Got an approval notice from the Long Beach, CA office today at exactly 4 months - applied May 5, approved Sep 5. No interview required.

I'm due in January and haven't submitted my renewal paperwork yet. Because if the grace period is there a reason I should be doing that "yesterday"? My wife is likely about to apply for a card that comes with GE renewal and already renewed this year, so if I can wait another few weeks to a month for her card application and delivery I really want to. Thoughts?
