Got conditional approval 2 days ago, By chance I happened to be in Canada. Flew back to USA Today and did interview on arrival at YUL.
The CBP agent I was initially talking to was unfamiliar with the process and told me it would probably take hours. I said I had the time. He sent me to a supervisor to find out how to do it. The supervisor just sent me back to a specific lane (that was processing some other person for a regular entry)… as soon as they finished the entry for that person, they did my “interview”. Only question asked was my address. Took about 15 minutes of him clicking away at the computer without talking to me, and 5 minutes of processing fingerprints and taking a new photo. status changed on the website a few hours later. the soonest appointment at the airport closest to me was November 23… so this was way more convenient! |

curious, have you had any international travel since the expiration?
I've spent the post 2 weeks in India and zurich. Still in zurich fir another week. Finally got a response to the email I mentioned and it now says processing is 6 to 8 months. I'm probably in the minority but I'd like to see them charge $500 or more for GE. That would keep all the pre checkers out that never leave the country or a rare trip. |
Oh gosh . 192 days and still another 6 to 8 months . Good Lord

I filed in early June, looks like I’ll get a Christmas present this year… That’s if they process it in six months. I’ll be testing out the system in November I was hoping to do EOA. I thought maybe they would process to coincide with your travel records but I guess not

I submitted my GE renewal application in early February 2022, and finally got approval last week without the need to do interview. For data point purposes, my wait was 7 months and no interview requirement.

Global Entry Renewal: Took me months: my husband 24 hours.
I renewed online my GE this spring. Not traveling lately I forgot about it. A couple weeks or so ago I got an email saying I had been approved and my card arrived shortly after that. My husband on the other hand sent his online renewal on Monday of this week.... last night he got a email saying he had been approved. It only took him 24 hours. Odd.

Submitted Monday, we were approved this AM. Any recent reports on how long until the new cards come? We did have a home address change and one job change,

My wife got approval email 3 weeks ago after around 6 months with no interview. (Still no card, should I request a replacement?) While we were waiting we went to Mexico and she returned without issue, the temp extension worked for her. I just submitted mine today, fingers crossed -- it asked me if I was going to be traveling soon and could use an arrival airport station. Hoping I don't need an interview as my travel details match my wife's, but who knows. It kind of makes sense to me that they shouldn't need new interviews unless something odd pops up on your automated background checks or you've been visiting "special" countries bunch -- why would they want to waste the time/work of an interview for renewals that have no violations or suspicious activity?
She hasn't received her card in the mail. Does it matter if we don't activate it if we are going through airports vs NEXUS? |

Got a two-year extension but needed an interview to extend beyond that and to get a valid card. Interviewed at EWR yesterday and asked CPB Agent if he knew why an interview was needed. He said that the apple that Fido sniffed out about 5 years ago likely had something to do with it. Fair enough

Yes, there seems to be a great discrepancy of people waiting for months or being immediately approved. You said the spring time, any specific month that you like to share. We’re hearing six months or more. I have reapplied first week of June, since then crickets

Ummmm, what am I supposed to do, there are no appointments available in my region.well into 2023. Anyone have any helpful tips? How do I find a virtual appointment, I don't want to pay to fly somewhere? |
