Once approved it is good for 5 years from the original expiration.

I was referring to between renewal before expiration and final approval, not after final approval.

My original GE was good for six years, because I was approved a few days after my birthday. I just applied for renewal in early June hopefully they’ll wait a few months and I’ll get another six years as my birthday is coming up in a few months..

I renewed and paid for my GE back in November of 2020. My membership expired in August of 2021. I'm still conditionally approved because I needed to do another interview. GE on arrival wasn't available at my last few international arrivals, so I haven't done it. We're going away for a couple of months and coming back in late September. How do I figure out when my conditional approval ends? Will I still get PreCheck while I'm conditionally approved? On my GE Login it says "Due to a significant increase in application volume, we are extending the grace period to allow you continued full benefits while U.S. Customs and Border Protection is finalizing your renewal application" but no date of grace period is given.

Also, I can't remember from when we did EOA with my daughter- is it open 24/7 at JFK? We're arriving on a weekday at 7pm.

Grace period is two years from your expiration date. Which shall be Aug 2023. Your PreCheck works until Aug 2023 if you still do not have final approval yet.

It is not open 24/7. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/show...ferrerid=22732

"We are pleased to inform you that your U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Global Entry program membership has been approved". Completed the renewal paperwork on Thursday night and woke up the approval on Saturday morning.

My current GE expires in JULY 2022 and from what I understand my current GE is good until JULY 2024 despite being conditionally approved, is that correct?

Also they are giving me the option to do enrollment on arrival but do not have any travel for a while, how long does one have to finish the interview process? I read 24 months from conditional approval, is that also correct? In other words I have until JUNE 2024 to do enrollment on arrival? That sounds very generous if my understanding is correct.

I just checked the FAQ's on the website after logging in to my end. It says 730 days to complete enrollment else the application will be terminated. However, I have heard previously that an appointment needs to be scheduled within 30 days although it can be scheduled for a later date (730 days max)

Moderator's Note

In case that there is confusion why Jzlerner's answer to economyfly's question appears out of order, it was posted in the wrong thread. The OP then deleted it from where they originally asked the question and reposted in this thread; however, by that time, an answer had already been posted in the original thread. I moved the response to follow the question in the same thread where it was reposted by the OP, however, I do not have the ability to modify time stamps.

I do not think this is correct as EOA has no scheduling therefore it can't be scheduled within 30 days

Do you know how long one has to finish the renewal with EOA from conditional approval? Is it 24 months from conditional approval? FAQs are not clear.

The requirement to schedule (not to actually have) the interview within 30 days of the conditional approval was eliminated several years ago and replaced by a deadline to complete the enrollment interview.

When I read that I get so confused. I reapplied at the beginning of the month and no update. I have some friends whom got approved in a few days this past year, so It makes me think did I do something wrong?
