Is the Beta Power Search function only functional with *A or can it be used for oneworld too?

I think the idea is it stops searching the first day that there is availability. Not sure if that's intended though, and I'd much prefer if it displayed all availability for the duration of the whole search.

Indeed, the [Power Search] is designed to stop as soon as Flight(s) with Award Seat Availability matching the [Filter] criteria are located.

Along the same veins, is a "power route" tool in the works - where I can enter many route pairs and click enter, and have them all searched systematically?

I'm getting the hang of this. Power search is basically a macro for the tool. That said, it stops at the first instance of the filter. It needs a "continue" button to resume the rest of the search.
Oneworld is issuing an error message: [9] out of subscript. |

Hi,
Same issue as previous post. I started to try today the new Beta, with the power search. However, I am somehow unable to search for a timespan longer than 7 days. I go to Award search, choose StarAlliance-7D; then I set up a filter (right now, I just tick "Filter results"), then back to award search, hit the powersearch button right above "Go", choose a +- range of 1 month. Then it works, but gives me only a list of 7 days. Is this correct, or am I doing something wrong? Keep up the good work. Cheers Alex. |
Tried out the Beta briefly last night. Agree with others that it would be good to see all days that "hit" on the criteria, not stop a the first one. Also, I did 2x 30 day searches on the *A method (NH) and about 1/3 of the way thru the second search I started getting the captcha messages which was quite annoying

I've tried the beta for a bit as well. Firstly I'll say I am appreciative of new functionality. That said - the idea of search a 30 day parameter to me means searching the entire calendar - not just searching for the next available date. As constructed - I'm not certain I would have any 'use case' the functionality would meet - other than the close in emergency - where you say - find me the next available (award) flight.
|
Stopping at the first hit is quite annoying … and somewhat useless. However unless the appropriate itinerary is requested, the results returned for all dates could be quite overwhelming … which also would make it useless. :)
What I'd like to see is the ability to input a particular flight number - then have it display all availability within the time period specified. |

We are currently looking into this issue -- please use [Awards/BA-OneWorld] in the meantime.
