The thing is, that he makes you aware of the 24hr AFTER you paid.
In a world of today, why can he not grant immediate access and check later? The payment went through... |

If you're waiting to search for *A awards and can't wait just use awardnexus, same ANA data for free and you don't have to wait for any reg codes.

Then, I tried to register.
And, guess what, it did not accept my E-Mail.

That was 7:45 am this morning. Until now, I have not heard anything. (8 hours later).
The tool must be damn good, because at the moment, I feel like I will not even try to use it anymore. And many thanks to ckpeter & lallyr for already addressing these 2 points:

Be patient. Kevin may not live in the same timezone as you, that's why he posted the 24 hours turnaround time. He is otherwise very prompt in my experience.
I think you will find the tool well-worth the few hours wait.

Dude relax! If you don't like the service take your business elsewhere. You are being unreasonable, he gives a 24hr turnaround time and you have given him 8hrs.
I have had outstanding service from the KVS tool over the last 5-6 years or so ^^^ |

As mentioned on the Registration Wizard page, you cannot use a disposable e-mail address.
2nd: @will-hier-weg.de is not a disposable e-mail address. It it provided by gmx and is a fully-functional mail address. I can not check, how good kvs is, because, from the decision, to use your tool, until now, I lost my free weekend day. Consider following: ^ Try to gather less data of your customer. All you really need is money. ^ Shorten the time between first hit of your homepage and use of kvs to the absolute minimum. Why should it need your manual interaction. This should be the next features, because functionality is one thing. But usability finally sells as well. BTW, yes, I got my access, 15 hours it took. Okay, I gave the other address, and the credit card seems to be refused. |

The use of free e-mail accounts (e.g. Hotmail/GMail/Yahoo/AOL) Do you really expect Kevin to list every single freemail provider on the planet?

Blame Visa, Mastercard and the other credit card companies for that.

If the latter does not match the data your credit card company has, it is totally your fault that things went wrong. As some others have posted: I am using the KVS tool for quite some time, had a couple of renewals, a ton of new machine keyes (due to loads of VMs) and never experienced anything like you did. |

The registration page clearly states that is not recommended. GMX falls into that category, don't you think?
The OP actually used a disposable-type e-mail address, as described above.

Again, what address are you talking about? Your email address or your postal address?
If the latter does not match the data your credit card company has, it is totally your fault that things went wrong. Nevertheless, he was provided a temporary registration code as courtesy, while we were waiting for him to respond with the correct address.

Hi all,
Lost newbie here. I have been checking around the forum for this without Under the SNT: Awards/StarAlliance method for the tool, I see an Air China flight listed as "YS\". I understand that the "\" = "cabin not applicable" but what exactly does that mean? Thanks. Derek:confused: |

Would it be possible to reformat TVN fare rules (as far as I understand it is the problem of html to text conversion, but the source provides genuine GDS formatting similar to DotRes)? That would make reading easier and faster.
Any chance to add information from Expedia fare rules - I am particularly interested in having fare creation system date. |
+1 to some kind of iKVS tool for iPad.
