How do you get IATA fares to show up? I only seem to get airline-specific fares when I enter YY.

ExpertFlyer currently supports the viewing of YY fares. To see them, just specify YY as one of the airlines in the fare search. This will show the YY fares as well as any other airlines fares that you specify. Specifying no airline will show all applicable airline fares, but not YY fares.

Not a current fare, but occationally TPM deduction cities are viewable on A public booking engine. I was wondering if you can utilize it ... I believe KVS is great tool anyway (although I am not a subscriber!) ;)

That fixed it Thanks

What am i doing wrong? I choose AMADEUS: AWARDS/ONEWORLD and do LHR-JFK on 08Apr08 for 1 seat. I enter my FF number and password.

I get all the flight details etc, but the "availability" is blank on all say 20 rows.

Also I am told that DXB or BAH are not valid origins.

P.S It works fine for StarAlliance

Thanks for the report -- a new version should be released later on today, which will restore this functionality.

In V2.0.3, you can now search for award availability ex-DXB (and many other previously unsupported airports) -- see above.

After downloading 3.0.2, "Check for Updates" tries to get me to download "an updated version (3.0.1)"

I'm only seing routing rules for user-entered fare codes, not the fare rules. If you can't get the full fare rules, the routing display has enough fare fules in them that it's still very helpful. Overall, a great enhancement!

Not anymore :).

To get fare rules for user-entered fares, you need to use the Fares/ZUJ Method.

BDA shorts Nov 29, 2007 8:30 am

Looking at DL/TRA14N for ANC-CLT using ZUJ method, fare rules tells me

[TRANSFERS]
2 TRANSFERS PERMITTED IN EACH DIRECTION ANY COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING
- 2 ONLINE ON DL. FARE BREAK AND EMBEDDED SURFACE SECTORS NOT PERMITTED
ON THE FARE COMPONENT.
but routing rules tells me

TRANSFERS - NOT PERMITTED
Now, what makes this even weirder is that I can price this fare code as 1/18 ANC-SEA-ATL-CLT and 1/30 CLT-ATL-SEA-ANC on DL.com (suggesting transfers are in fact permitted)--but the fare rules overview says transfers not permitted, while the full fare rules says two transfers each way.

So maybe this isn't a bug on your end after all :D
Still makes no sense though.

Mistakes in fares (and the associated rules) aren't exactly unknown to the human kind :). Obviously, transfers are permitted (and required), as per the routing rules:

[KVS Availability Tool 3.0.2/Platinum - WSpan: ANC-CLT/DL/TRA14N/443 USD]
Code:

There may be a glitch with sabre/dotres (3.0.2 version).

Trying to get the economy vs business vs first class fares on Jet Airways (ie YYZ-DEL, or between DEL-SIN), the list of fares for business or first class are the same that are displayed for economy.

Trying this for TG, at least for DEL-SIN, the problem also arises.
