Seat Maps: we're currently not able to show seat maps for flights departing within the next 24 hours for several airlines: DL, BA, QR , ANA, B6, & JL
Searches currently not working:
- Upgrades - AY, BA, EK, EY, IB, QR, VS
- Awards - AY, BA, IB, EY, QR, VS
To search AA upgrades:
- Use the Award & Upgrade tool
- Only search for individual segments (set the "Connection Preference" drop-down to "Direct/Non-Stop only"). Flight results that are part of a connection won't show the upgrade version of C or A inventory because AA only files upgrade inventory as individual, not married, segments. (Married segments show revenue inventory instead of upgrade inventory.)
- To avoid confusion, check the "Exclude Codeshares" box, as AA awards and upgrades are not valid on codeshares.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but EF no longer seems to have correct data for some BA flights.
I'm looking for seats in F LHR-SYD Jan 5th. EF shows BA15 as F0, A0, but on BA.com I can book 4 seats on this flight in First.
Interestingly the seat map for that day on EF shows 4 available plus 2 blocked seats, whereas BA shows 4 available seats and 4 unavailable (if 1A and 1K were blocked not sold, I think as BA GGL they should be available to me)
It's very similar on Jan 4th with EF showing no availability in F or A, but showing 4 seats available on the seat map. BA is showing 4 seats available for that date
Does anyone know what's going on? Unless this is a temporary glitch, it would seem that EF can no longer be relied on for reliable availability information on BA

That said, I do fear that EF is slowing dying and it's certainly becoming far less useful for OneWorld fliers, since being sold off. The number of OW carriers that EF no longer displays award availability for just continues to grow. And I honestly don't really understand why given there is an increasing number of new tools springing up with each passing month (some of which are free or at least "freemium") that can show some of those awards (though certainly not all)

Many thanks, I hadn't opened up advance options - that's more like it!
I should have stated in my original question that it's paid availability I'm looking at, albeit in order to see which flights, with the use of a space release, I may be able to secure reward flights on.

Hi ExpertFlyer Voice
It's been noted that EK and FZ availability is often different (in paid fare buckets) than the website availability. Can you please provide some feedback on this?
Example can be found in this thread and found below: Expertflyer vs Website

Hi all,
There's an interesting availability issue I am noticing especially with FZ -- the website continues selling seats, however on Expertflyer they are 0'd out. For example, this is the availability showing from UAE POS (currently sitting in RAK) for a round trip DXB-ALA departing from T3 -- as you can see, 0 availability in Economy under FZ prime code FZ1739, 4+ in business, and the equivalent flight on EK codeshare showing 6 in Flex Plus Y:

This matches up with Emirates website for this flight, with 3 showing in Flex (booking into B class):

Now is where it gets fun: on FZ website, the FZ1721 (earlier) flight shows 1 seat left at the cheap price, whereas there are 3 seats left on the later flight (FZ1739), all in the lite fare bucket, even though Expertflyer (above) shows literally 0 seats up to Y on FZ1739. How are they still selling 3 lite fares?

Why am I getting this message: "There was an error message from the airline when trying to retrieve this seat map: PRS NOT ALLOWED THIS CLASS OR ZONE"

Similar DP on EF data not matching website exactly
I'm trying to book a DL flight ICN-ATL 11/14/23 - 12/05/23.
Using the "Fare Information" tab I see that the fare TLXGXKYK is cheapest and valid. Using the
Using the "Flight Availability" tab I see that both DL26 (ICN->ATL) and DL27 (ATL->ICN) has T available (each shwos T9, T8)
However, on the Delta website the lowest I can book is a Q class.
Also, ITA matrix doesn't seem to show a result with the TLXGXKYK fare.
Based on recent replies to this thread, I guess that flight availability data doesn't sync well between EF/DL/GDS. (Or maybe being the noob I am I might have missed anything regarding the fare rules itself.. if someone could point out I'd appreciate it greatly)

You selected a class that does not support Pre-Reserved Seats (i.e. seating assignment before check-in). It's also possible the flight is not eligible for PRS. Note: if you selected both Business and Economy, and Economy does not support PRS, the error message would be generated, even if Business supports PRS. It's also possible that PRS is supported on the flight but not through the GDS (only using a carrier's direct interface).
Try to modify the classes in your selection, e.g., deselect Economy.

PR award space when booking with ANA
I need help. I am trying to look for Business class award availability on Philippine Airlines (PR) via ANA. I show award space is available on EF but when I call ANA (after being hold for 75 minutes) they say no award availability. Am I doing something wrong?

Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm new to EF.
I found my fare basis code for a flight from AUS-LAX-AUS on 9/19-9/23. The ticket was booked 9/12. The code is TA7NH3MF (from pnr.sh). But when I enter that in EF, including the ticketing date, under the fare information tab, nothing shows up. When I look for all fares in the T bucket, that one doesn't show up, and the fares shown are all higher than the one I paid. Am I doing something wrong?

There seems to be flights missing from the schedules on EF. SN operates an apparently daily flight between BRU and NBO.
These flights are not shown on any of the EF queries (schedules, availability, etc).
Here is a screen shot from the SN booking page of a sample.
