Seat Maps: we're currently not able to show seat maps for flights departing within the next 24 hours for several airlines: DL, BA, QR , ANA, B6, & JL
Searches currently not working:
- Upgrades - AY, BA, EK, EY, IB, QR, VS
- Awards - AY, BA, IB, EY, QR, VS
To search AA upgrades:
- Use the Award & Upgrade tool
- Only search for individual segments (set the "Connection Preference" drop-down to "Direct/Non-Stop only"). Flight results that are part of a connection won't show the upgrade version of C or A inventory because AA only files upgrade inventory as individual, not married, segments. (Married segments show revenue inventory instead of upgrade inventory.)
- To avoid confusion, check the "Exclude Codeshares" box, as AA awards and upgrades are not valid on codeshares.

It's possible that you purchased a fare that hasn't been published in the GDS, especially if you bought it directly from the airline. They may offer cheaper fares via their own sales channels and those fares won't appear in the GDS. Usually, the airline will file a GDS fare that mirrors their private fare, with the same rules but slightly more expensive. So you can try to find that one.
The US airlines are also moving away from GDS to a new method of pricing called NDC. If the fare is an NDC fare, you won't be able to find it in ExpertFlyer, as it's not supported. This in itself is also the biggest threat to the accuracy of ExpertFlyer at the moment.

They blocked a whole host of IP addresses in their WAF yesterday with little regard to granularity, I guess because of scrapers or DDoS. I can't access ExpertFlyer anymore from our corporate network. I can still access it from my residential IP address for now.
Will cancel my subscription if this is not rolled back.

What's happened to the ExpertFlyer app, SeatAlerts, for Android. I've been having problems logging in for the last couple of days and now I can't even find the Android version to download from their website only the Apple version nor in the Play Store. Anyone know anything about this?

I contacted experflyer and they just emailed back saying the seat alerts android app is no longer supported.
They are to continue the seat alerts via their website though which provides the same. Just a shame the apps going as it was very useful especially whilst traveling.
I suppose will get used to using the website login again.
