Printing is suppose to be coming with iOS 4.2 in November.

But may only support certain models or types of printers.

I have difficulty plugging the power/data connector into her iPad, and I don't think my mom could possibly manage it. Therefore, she leaves the USB power cord plugged into the iPad all the time.

That means that all communications into and out of the device need to be via wi-fi. I'll have to check the Eye-Fi cards for digital cameras...she has a camera, but I don't remember if it uses SD or some other type of memory card.

Some very nice games, pick colors, moving blocks around, tapping on frogs, etc. There MUST be a link to kids games in Itunes. I was at a friends house a few weeks ago, their 2 year old was basically TRADING STOCKS on the thing.

Another pet peeve - parents of young children please either introduce your children to headphones or turn off the sound on games (ds, ipad etc.) = had three hours of shooting sounds at high volume on a flight last week... There's a reason why the IFE has headphones :)

Wishing it sync'd my notes and tasks with active sync without some extra app that only does it half way.

Also don't like any of the aim clients for ipad, and don't think push notifications work well when traveling internationally (they work fine at home though for some reason, this may be due to my sim card arrangement).

I can recommend "Cut the Rope" as a fun game for the iPad. "Slice it" is quite good too.

I played "Angry Birds" for a while but never got that much into it. I think there was a similar game called "Castle Smasher" or something like that that I enjoyed way more... :)
