so how is the vegetarian hindu meal? you tried at least the appetizers, right?
When I am in India and dine with vegetarians, I refrain from ordering any meat dish and share their vegetarian dishes with them. Quite tasteful and a change, but it would get very boring after few days...

Yeah had it in C class back in August. It's pretty good. The duck is kinda heavy but the sauce is good.

Yeah. I sat in C and my wife in F. I think they are basically the same with one or two menu option differences. Forget off the top of my head

Post Not the answer you're looking for...

I would say do a search on the word preorder or on any of the meals above. This has been covered a couple times. There's no easy way to answer this question though because we don't know what your taste in food is, we're all different when it comes to how we expect a meal to be. The other thing to note is please realize that these planes aren't equipped with a kitchen, more likely a microwave for the premade foods to be reheated in so even though you can prepare a steak or lobster in a microwave to have it be edible requires some skills beyond just pushing buttons. Many will stay away from lobster and steaks because of how inconsistent the results can be and instead look into curry dishes because they survive being reheated in a microwave better. The next variable is who is preparing the food before it gets on the plane. When I flew first CDG to BKK I had pre-ordered a Thai curry and the purser approached me and asked if i like Thai food and then reminded me that we were currently in Paris so she couldn't guarantee that the Thai meal would meet my expectations. I enjoyed the meal. So you may need to include the flights or cities you will be flying between to get a more specific answer.

Here is the menu for my upcoming flight FRA-BKK in F:

The Lobster sounds good, but probably not very filling. The duck and chicken sound very good. I would go with the steak but everytime I fly intl F/J I always order steak so I'd like to try something different. Anyone have any of these entrees recently and could say if they did or did not enjoy?

Lobster Cream Sauce (Lobster)
Beef Balsamico Sauce (Beef Steak)
Chicken Breast Zucchini Sauce (Chicken Breast)
Poached Charfil Fish With Smoked Fish Sauce (Charfil Fish)
Duck Breast Madeira Sauce (Duck Madeira)
Chicken Green Curry (Chicken Kiew Wan)
Beef Green Curry (Beef Kiew Wan)
Prawn Green Curry (Prawn Kiew Wan)
Chicken Red Curry (Chicken Red Curry)
Beef Red Curry (Beef Red Curry)
Prawn Red Curry (Prawn Red Curry
Chicken With Basil And Chilli (Rice Chicken Basil)
Pork With Basil And Chilli (Rice Pork Basil)
Prawn With Basil And Chilli (Rice Prawn Basil
Tom Yum Kung (Tom Yum Kung)
Roast Duck With Yellow Noodles (Duck Noodles)
Boiled Rice With Chicken (Chicken Boiled Rice)
Boiled Rice With Minced Pork (Pork Boiled Rice)
Boiled Rice With Prawn (Prawn Boiled Rice)
Mushroom Lasagna (Vlml Lasagna)

Just read through this thread and it seems most recommendations are ex FRA or somewhere else. What's the best meal ex BKK?

I chose the lobster in cream sauce for FRA-BKK (which apparently isn't that great according to this guy). Flying BKK-FRA in December and the pre-order list is huge! Not sure whether to go with something on the chef recommendation menu, the stir-fried prawn, or one of the set menus.

I am flying FRA-BKK on Thai First class, does anyone have a recent menu? I am deciding if I should pre-order (lobster in cream sauce or beef in balsamico sauce) or just order what they have on the menu. Any advice?

This thread seems to have a lot of question without much feedback. Surely someone has tried these F entrees?

When I fly in June I am taking snapshots of the menu and will post them here. FRA-BKK in F and BKK-DPS in J.

I flew F CDG-BKK in December and ordered the prawn penang which was very tasty and a lot of flavor. Flying BKK-SYD in F next month and may order the same.

I'm not a big fan of lobster on planes.

maybe because the same questions have be asked dozens of times again and again

from the Thai dishes I prefer the Panaeng Curry and then the Green Curry (chicken as meat preference) and from the Western dishes the Beef or Lamb dishes; Beef varies from departing airport to airport. Rossini from BKK, with Pesto Sauce from Zurich etc.
