- Roasted Duck With Grape In Red Curry
- Stir-fried Spinach With Garlic And Chili
- Thai Style Omelet
- Steamed Thai Hom Mali Rice
- Banana In Coconut Milk

Not a huge fan of the Chinese Cabbage Clear Soup (in general, never had TG F's version) but all of the special sets have the same soup.

On the way back I'm trying the Green Curry with Chicken in F and then the Beef Masaman on the way to SIN.
I posted photo's of my Special set in May. It was OK, i'm debating ordering the latest one for my trip in the next 2 week's. Most of the items are the same but at that time it was a spicy beef instead of pork and i'm still not sure which curry I had. It was a lot of food for my quick BKK-HKG, not sure if it would be enough food for me when i do BKK-FRA

I once had Tom Yang Goong in BKK F lounge and it was awful, also the worst I had ever had - insipid only begins to describe it. But I suppose they pander to the tastes of the majority that pass through on their way to the next international hotel where when you wake up you have no idea where you are.

As for the "Dom", if it was not so expensive would anyone drink it? It really is crap. In my opinion it's pure marketing over reality - a bit like Nike and Apple.

Well, I have to admit you have got me there as I don't even know what UI/UXs are. I could Google it but life is too short.

why not take the "view". Will help to keep your diet plans and decrease your negative C02 balance!

had 2 different type of lobster (thermidor and in a pad thai) earlier in the year (on BRU - BKK and SYD - BKK) and both were a bit dry. would probably recommend going for something with a bit of sauce to avoid airplane food dryness.

I had a green thai beef curry (there are different versions) on one of the other flights and it was excellent.

I was in F from HKG to BKK and ordered a green curry meal online. But after I saw the wagyu steak + foie gras entree online, I asked if I could switch. The FA was very nice and she just gave me two entrees...

I had the same. Was only pax on BKK - BRU earlier in the year and had my pre-ordered meal plus one of the normal ones (and if I hadn't resisted as much as I did, I probably would have been fed a few more meals).

You saw it online or onboard?

Anyone have an opinion on the lobster with cream sauce exFRA?

I had the lobster with cream sauce in the beginning of this year on TG921 FRA-BKK. Wrongly assuming it would be a proper lobster Thermidor. Very bland noodles and some sloppy veggies (spinach?). A rather boring meal. The lobster meat itself was not bad though. Still, I wouldn't recommend it.

Here's a picture of it in my trip report:

I had the same pre ordered meal about a month ago. Yep really strange mix of foods on the plate, I didn't actually touch the noodles or spinach and just had the lobster meat which was actually quite nice and tender in a nice sauce, I was pleasantly surprised. I did enjoy 3 rounds of caviar though which was a bit of an indulgence.
