We had mixed results using the pre-ordering service online. Both flights we were on a the same UA award flying TG First. HKG-BKK they served us correctly our pre-requested Lamb Chops meal (despite the online itinerary page showing "vegetarian hindu"); however, on the BKK-CDG segment they actually tried serving me the "vegetarian hindu" meal despite ordering online the NZ Steak. Ugh!
It seems the online pre-ordering service is unreliable at best. I'd preferred to just order off the in-flight catering in my next attempt. The flight crew was very sympathetic and allowed us to order off the inflight menu, however the appetizers were unavailable due to their website malfunction of the "vegetarian hindu" request.

The flight crew was very sympathetic and allowed us to order off the inflight menu, however the appetizers were unavailable due to their website malfunction of the "vegetarian hindu" request.
