Anybody have a copy of the current cycle longhaul inbound c-class menu for WK (Edelweiss)? Posting it here as a subsidiary of LX and operating LX codeshares. Thanks.

I had a WK C Class rountrip to PUJ in end of June/mid July. C-Class menus were not handed out due to Covid. The Pasta on the ZRH-PUJ flight was excellent.

JFK-ZRH. Great main dish of Korean short ribs. Felt a little cheap to not have a starter other than a basic garden salad in TATL C. Dessert was not catered per menu but was some type of lemon cheesecake. Skipped breakfast.

the Korean Kalbi Jim does not look really great...hope it tasted better than it looked
very lousy starter indeed even for biz class....

definitely tasted better than it looked, but maybe great was an exaggeration on my part. I’m used to pretty mediocre main dishes on LX C so I was positively surprised

Nothing says “taste of Switzerland” like Korean-style braised beef.

I have to concur with BinSabai, when I saw the picture, it looked like something else…

it has nothing in common with the original dish called Kalbi Jim, that you can get in Korea...

Given the late departure on LX15 and LX19 it is ok that only a express meal is served without a real starter, was already the case before COVID That the catering selection out of US stations and also most other outstations is very disapointing is another anoying issue and over the years never changed.

on short-haul OSL to ZRH last week - we got in C the spruengli box (which is sold in Y) for breakfast. The crew told us this the new normal when the aircraft starts at an outstation in the morning. The food was ok but I find this a bit strange.

Had the same Ex-EWR (LX019) on 13AUG. It is a late flight there so a small meal is better. I was surprised at no cooked breakfast option given the time of the flight. The short rib was pretty good.

I understand new service is coming in September.

Flew ZRH-YUL in F this week, tried to sample as many wines as I could. Had a 1h20m departure delay at the gate so had 3 glasses of LPGS as a PDB.

nice photos!
no main dish?
just amuse bouche, starter, salad, cheese?
the pikeperch and the veal fillet would have been very interesting

I had the risotto - it's in the last food pic before the cheese, hiding under arugula and cheese. It was very tasty
