OK, looks like I left the menu on the plane yesterday

Sorry about that, but from what I can remember (without all the fancy details)...

SQ 320 May 2006

Lunch
A savoury note
crab and mango salad

The main event
Sea bass
Braised lamb shank
Thai beef
plus one other

Cheeseboard (Cheddar, boursin and brie)
Tiramisu ice cream (Movenpick)
Coffee, tea and pralines

Snack menu looked to be identical to that listed for SQ318 two posts back, but there were no nuts and no toblerone bars available. An announcement was made at the start of the flight about not eating packets of nuts as someone on board had a peanut allergy, so I assume this was why things looked a bit light in the basket.

Dinner
To Nibble On...
Satay
With onion, cucumber and spicy peanut sauce

A Savoury Note
This was big pieces of raw salmon with leaves

The main event
Hot wok chicken (I had this and it was very bland)
Salmon fillet
plus two other choices

Cheeseboard (Stilton, feta and cheddar)
Waterchestnut and mungbean pudding (don't think I saw any takers for this )
Coffee or tea

Impressive memory! ^ The Singapore Slings usually ensure my mind can't be too trusted after a flight on SQ.

Must admit, I ordered a Tiger beer an hour or so after lunch and the glass was refilled far too many times but I've learnt the hard way that there's a big advantage to not going overboard on the spirits...

Thank you. I guess now all the flights departing after midnight will have only one meal service to ensure longer sleeps for the pax.
Hmmm SQ221 sounds better option now.

I guess "carrot cake" was generating too much confusion.
