The earlier NZ flight has 2 meals IIRC.
Hmmm, strange. I flew MEL-SIN on the daytime (4pm ish departure) recently, and I could have sworn there were 2 separate meal services in C class. And that daytime flight is atleast a couple of hours shorter than AKL/CHC-SIN.

CHC-SIN departure is 1255, arrival 1950 and a scheduled duration of 10h55min.

What are snacks like on SQ's Raffles Class during the flight? (Especially on the FRA-JFK route)

What does light meal mean on the FRA-JFK route? Do they serve different courses or all courses at once?

Would you recommend to take SQ on the FRA-JFK route or LH's new C-Class concerning food? I'm especially ask because I'm not a big fan of (hot) breakfast on the plane and SQ obviously serves breakfast while LH has lunch (as a result of their departure time which is at 10 a.m. the earliest). So, what can I expect of the second meal service on SQ compared to the second service on LH (light meal served on one tray)?

Well, if you look up post #180, you will see the Jan 06 menu for FRA-JFK. Let us know what you think...

Thank you, and what about small snacks between breakfast and lunch? Do they have some stuff in the galley like sandwiches or ice cream? Or do they prepare even hot snacks like a soup?

By the way, the menu is what I expected, except for the quantity of the lunch as I only expected a light meal before arrival like LH does. So, do they serve this lunch in many different courses or just at once on one "tray".

Served in different courses. In fact, I think SQ is the only airline to serve 2 full meals on the route.

Sin-tpe-lax

I'm sure someone has flown SIN-TPE-LAX (or maybe not as most would have taken the non-stop departing SIN an hour earlier), and I am interested in the menu. Also, how is the BTC meals out of TPE? I saw the selection but any suggestion(s)? Thanks.

Hello all, new here in this forum. Could somebody post the April menu for SQ998 and SQ997.

What are the months that share the menu?

Thanks

Was just looking through the menus and realised that they've replaced Hanagoyomi with Kagetsu-zen (not a box with less dishes?) Was Hanagoyomi some promotion that has ended?

#181 SQ997 Lunch - Hanagoyomi
#196 SQ12 Lunch - Kagetsu-zen

From my limited knowledge, different courses are served in different sectors. I took SQ12 in mid-March. They served Kagetsu-zen on SIN-NRT and Hanagoyomi on NRT-LAX. I remember being surprised that Hanagoyomi was offered on the second sector because Carfield had posted otherwise earlier. Anyway, I didn't try it as I had asked for BTC.
