The website will not let me upgrade using an RPU - keep getting an error message and a prompt to call.
1K line was able to fix it, but is this happening with anyone else?

I seem to have been demoted from 1K to Premier Platinum, in spite of the having earned well over 100K EQM's last year and being told that my new status would be 1K. And my current reservations now say that I'm Platinum, not 1K.
Is this something that can be expected to fix itself, or do I need to complain? If so, how do I complain. It would be great to fix this before my flight on Saturday.

And I too have a flight with a waitlisted upgrade (RPU) on Saturday. I'm going to see what has changed tomorrow and then send some messages if it's the same/worse.Other fun:
I have a flight on Thursday with a confirmed upgrade to R and seat assignment as of yesterday, today the upgrade was still confirmed but the seat assignment put me back in my E+ seat. My front cabin seat was shown unavailable, so I picked another, this freed up my first front cabin seat so I reassigned back to it.
I flew on Feb 29 on UA metal and the flight does not show up on my history but still seems to be included in my YTD PQM total. Not sure about lifetime miles, I was stupid and didn't note down the exact total before integration, I can only remember it to within ~10K miles. At least it hasn't fluctuated by any more than that! I'm assuming it's probably a Feb 29 issue.
A return trip on US in Feb posted more miles on the return than on the outgoing (identical actual flight distance). Short enough flight that I'm not too fussed about whether I or United are coming out better in the deal. Does anyone remember if the 500 mile minimum for 1Ks applies to US Airways flights? I thought it was all *A partners, but could be wrong...

What really would be nice and sort of missing (and strange) is some updates from UA Insider on the other thread. The last one was almost 24 hours ago and a lot have been fixed and broken since

Sounds like an entitlement issue....someone else gets a perk, let's point the finger and try and raise a stink because you aren't getting your upgrades. I've missed the upgrades even on a full Y because everyone is an elite now, it sucks but what am I going to do?
Agreed, but I was just responding to qukslvr619's contention that this is not like TODs, where a GM paying very little is upgraded ahead of even a 1K on a much higher fare. I don't begrudge UA from giving deep discounts of 70% or 80% off full Y to the government or a huge corporate customer, but it's not right to also give them top priority on upgrades ahead of those individuals who have been led to believe are important to UA. The automatic upgrades should exclude private fares or at least give them a priority more reflective of the passenger's own status or fare paid.
Where are these city pairs everyone is seeing 70-80% off full Y.....cause majority of mine are at best about 20%

Lost functionality to look up PNR by ticket number is very frustrating.
Need to have passport "verified" every few months before the system will allow you to check-in is completely ridiculous. Even when it's "verified" the system requires an agent to view your passport anyway. What was wrong with the old UA way whereby it printed you a BP but wouldn't allow you to board if passport hadn't been verified?

So logged in and saw all the PMUA PQMs gone. Freaked out, but then got caught up on todays posts here and see it is wide spread. Luckily, I've had lots of training keeping up with enormous threads on FT (thank you trick it!
) but I can't imagine what folks who aren't plugged into this thread (or even FT in general) must be thinking!

The shortened distance between city pairs is highly annoying.
If not corrected automatically, I plan to email Customer Care and request the award miles on my original itinerary receipts for the next 5 itineraries in my queue.
Of course, I could be wrong - maybe someone moved IAD or SAN 8 miles during the integration (2,253 before, 2,245 after).

I gave you the example of IAD-SFO for travel tomorrow. Gov Y fare is $351, regular B is $782, full Y is $1582. In this case your discount is 78% off of regular Y, but you'll be first in line for upgrades and may not even need to wait for the next sweep.

Just spoke to a 1K agent on an upgrade issue, and she said that her system is telling her that Row 2 in F on a PMUA 757-200 is an exit row. It is also showing that way online.

Was nominated in Oct/Nov to be a Million Mile Companion and was told by Premier Executive Customer Service on January 28 that this would be in full swing on March 3 so I decided to book United for a lot of traveling I was going to be doing in mid March - May. My travel commences on March 11 and obviously, my MP profile page still doesn't show this status which reflects the recent postings about how it won't be reflected until mid-March when the new credentials are sent out. My gripe is that I have to pay a crap ton of luggage fees now, both ways, for who knows how long until this issue is fixed. I made the decision to book with UA based on the program commencing March 3 and now I just feel really misled! Is there any way to avoid this?
I tried calling the elite MP customer service number and the agent tried to do something about it but she mentioned the system was down and she wanted me to call back in a few hours. She speculated that if I gave my MP# to the agent at check-in, they would be able to waive the luggage fees but I told her if I had no "official" status displayed on my profile, why would they waive it? She then said to have them call UA directly to get that taken care of at the counter if they give me trouble but I wanted more than that--Some type of confirmation or something.
How exhausting! Anybody have any tips, recommendations, or answers? Thanks in advance!

Two more points (apologies if covered already). Having a problem booking flights into cities with two airports (MIAFLL, LAXSNA), it tells me no flights could be found. Only a problem when trying to go in one and out the other.
Also, no dunmy reward searches are showing 'mixed cabin' logos; leaving me surprised when I saw the fare codes. I'd be upset if I were researching flights for real and had to click to and fro while guessing if all 4 legs would be available in BF or C.

Given the state of the system, I wonder what will happen if you just show up insist that you are elite and they also have not sent you a card

Given all the problems, I think they probably want to settle the existing problems first before making more changes.
