I seem to have been demoted from 1K to Premier Platinum, in spite of the having earned well over 100K EQM's last year and being told that my new status would be 1K. And my current reservations now say that I'm Platinum, not 1K.
Is this something that can be expected to fix itself, or do I need to complain? If so, how do I complain. It would be great to fix this before my flight on Saturday.
This describes my situation precisely as well, I was shown as 1K yesterday on the new system but now today I have been demoted to Premier Platinum. Maybe if you fly a Premier Platinum amount over 1K you 'clock' the system back to PP
And I too have a flight with a waitlisted upgrade (RPU) on Saturday. I'm going to see what has changed tomorrow and then send some messages if it's the same/worse.
Other fun:
I have a flight on Thursday with a confirmed upgrade to R and seat assignment as of yesterday, today the upgrade was still confirmed but the seat assignment put me back in my E+ seat. My front cabin seat was shown unavailable, so I picked another, this freed up my first front cabin seat so I reassigned back to it.
I flew on Feb 29 on UA metal and the flight does not show up on my history but still seems to be included in my YTD PQM total. Not sure about lifetime miles, I was stupid and didn't note down the exact total before integration, I can only remember it to within ~10K miles. At least it hasn't fluctuated by any more than that! I'm assuming it's probably a Feb 29 issue.
A return trip on US in Feb posted more miles on the return than on the outgoing (identical actual flight distance). Short enough flight that I'm not too fussed about whether I or United are coming out better in the deal. Does anyone remember if the 500 mile minimum for 1Ks applies to US Airways flights? I thought it was all *A partners, but could be wrong...
