The US side apparently has validation logic for what constitutes a UA MP #, and that validation logic is simple: 11 numeric digits. Hence the new "MP" #s don't work, because they're 8 alphanumeric characters.
If UA had kept 11-digit MP #s, there would have been no problem.
If US had updated their systems so that they allowed 8-character alphanumeric MP #s, there would have been no problem.
For a short time (I'm hoping we're talking several months vs. several weeks), the old UA MP # should work for situations like this where the partner doesn't accept OP #s as being Mileage Plus accounts.

Flight search engine not showing partners?
Flight search is not showing *A partners when I search for flights to FLR, Italy.
Instead asks me to switch search to either Milan or Rome.
Prior to 3/3 was able to search for FLR and some others.
Anyone else having this issue?

Anybody else unable to log in, getting the message, ! Please contact the MileagePlus Service Center for assistance with your account? Immediately after the cutover this weekend, I logged in a few times successfully. But in the last 48 hours I get this message so I'm effectively locked out of my account. Have waited 2 hours on call center hold and gave up.

Looks like the United Club locations list is currently being updated to include ex-RCCs as we speak. I'm seeing new additions as I refresh the page. ^

For anyone that flew on 3/2 and 3/3, have you seen any miles post yet? I'm waiting for the 8,000 miles to post so I'll have enough to book a reward ticket for a relative. It was two CO flights and one LH flight on a United Milage Plus number that has now been switched back to my old CO number.
Glad I saved my boarding passes...

My Wednesday/Thursday travel from last week has yet to post as well. I believe they noted there would be a delay in that data posting. Just keep those boarding stubs/ticket number handy just in case.

On Friday and Saturday, I could not pull up partner flights for reservations. I was able to do it for a brief time yesterday, but the system would not allow me to book them (these flights were 40 percent cheaper than United/Continental). I could only get as far as credit card processing. Epic fail!

There is no Premier 1K option in the drop down list (when I use the online form to contact UA). Isn't this Integration 101, surprised it wasn't on the basic checklist
How do I contact UA using the online form?

! The membership level associated to your MileagePlus number is Premier 1K

The problem actually probably is on the US side, albeit a problem created by UA MP switching to OP #s.

When I was traveling US Airways in January, I was using my CO OnePass number and it worked fine at the beginning of the trip and then later on the return Star Gold went away.
