Same, called 1k just now to sync a reservation and picked up within a couple minutes. Big relief after a 5+ hour episode few weeks ago.

The agent insisted RPU/CR1 upgrade waitlisted as ON (vs. R) is ok, even though it's a 2-class PMUA aircraft. I hope he's right and folks on CPU aren't clearing ahead of me (it's currently R/RN0 so doubt it)! Thought about yanking the RPU/CR1 given it's within 96 hr window but thought I'd test if instrument sponsored upgrades get priority now.

Still waiting for EUA on a different R/RN9 segment to clear... come on it's << 96 hours now!

It took me 4 phone calls and 2 requests to speak with a supervisor (total ~2 hours today) to resolve it, even though I'm 50 hrs from my flight. I had been uber-polite but finally had to sound upset and then, after 30 minutes waiting on hold, allegedly waiting for a supervisor to help me, I noticed R decrease by 1 (from 4 to 3) -- the agent came back and reported that the helpdesk magically cleared my CPU; but she wasn't happy about it! I asked her when I should call back regarding the upgrade for the return leg (which is 92 hours out, showing R4) and she said "How about you call us the same day of your flight, sir??" Alllriiighty, then. Soo... I left it alone, for now.

Good luck to you!

Mileage Posting

For anyone that flew on 3/2 and 3/3, have you seen any miles post yet? I'm waiting for the 8,000 miles to post so I'll have enough to book a reward ticket for a relative. It was two CO flights and one LH flight on a United Milage Plus number that has now been switched back to my old CO number.

Glad I saved my boarding passes...

If I fly on Friday, I normally dont see miles until Monday or Tuesday. PMCO was slow in posting miles.

Hey, seems could not get award travel results for MIA originating flights. When trying MIA-CHI, gave me an error. Tried MIA to several other cities including NYC, ICN, NRT, PEK, same ..

united.com could not find any available flights for award travel meeting your requirements. You may modify your search criteria or contact United Reservations in United States at 1-800-300-1547.

When I called regarding my HNL-ORD upgrade using RPU for 3/7, which was also listed as ON, the agent said it was wrong and he changed it to R. I was upgraded instantly. I think I recall Shannon noting that the ON was incorrect for the 2-cabin aircraft also and that they were working on it, but I didn't want to wait it out! Sounds like there is still some confusion out there.

that's correct -- you'll just need to "trust" the system.

Gbegbe, this was answered by UA Insider earlier: if your MileagePlus number is in the reservation when you made it, it'll automatically be queued up into the CPU process.

But CPUs are not clearing automatically for many people for flights this week, as per many posts on this thread. A call to UA is definitely in order if R availability is showing and you're within the upgrade window (e.g. 96 hours for 1K), but not yet cleared.

Did your upgrade already clear? If not, do you see yourself on the upgrade list?

Thanks.

However, the receipt only lists the correct current flights, though it shows the cumulative number of seats to be assigned.
I have this same issue with a Continental award on United. My itinerary displays the same way as you state. The receipt is fine, except it has placeholders for seat assignments on the changed (deleted) segments.

Before 3/3, I had some "auto-changes" due to schedule changes. One of these changes had an illegal connection, which I corrected by calling Continental. After fixing the illegal connection (before 3/3), I checked continental.com and the itinerary was fine. I also pulled it up on united.com and I could see all the segments, including the ones that had been changed. Now, it appears the Continental variant is gone. I think the problem (if any) actually occurred back when the agent changed the ticket to fix the connection, and it's simply been carried over after integration. As I have a confirmed ticket, seats, and all seems A-OK otherwise, I'll wait a few days until things calm down with integration before calling.

(I'm a long-time lurker, and I came here to look for this same issue, so decided to reply to say, yes, there is at least one other. )
