Do you have a RPU reserved/used for a future itinerary? If so this is a known issue (see first post).

Pat, I've queued this issue to UA Insider as I have this same issue on an end-of-March situation which did have an earlier refund/rebook within 24 hours of original booking. From other views of my PNR, I'm confident that it's a glitch which has not affected the current form of the reservation, but did share my PNR with UA Insider.

This is a picture of the BP that my friend got at LGA on Sunday night. She's 1K and in F, but got zone 5.

Can someone tell me the best way to get through to their award reservation people? My friend (1K) has his reservations completely messed up and unticketed now and has waited 5 hours and 4 hours today to speak to someone. His mobile phone company automatically drops the call he believes after a length of time.

Thoughts?

Right now, he calls 1-800-UNITED-1 and does Mileage Plus > Award Res > MP Number (new CO)

Thanks a lot.

Perhaps he can try the 1K phone number, instead?

Yes! Thank you. I must have somehow missed that. It showed 7 on 3/3 and went down to 6 today.

I just put in my new number online to print out my US boarding pass -- pass does not show me as Star Gold, and put me in Boarding Zone 5.

US phone agent was clueless on how to solve -- said he could not un-check me in and replace new MP number with my old one. He told me to take it up with airport counter agent.
In US OLCI you should be able to update the FFN and print the boarding pass again. It used to be that it showed UA status levels by name (so you'd have "CO Star Silver", but "UA Premier"). Wonder if it still does...

This might have been fixed ^ so check your itineraries as mine (waitlisted flight using an RPU) now shows correctly with only "This flight segment is waitlisted" in red
Mine has always had the waring and the Red Waitlisted.. No change for me. I still am wondering why they want us to call in. I waited 55 minutes before and had to hang up. 1P line is not that speedy..
I think your mis-reading my post.....

I'm referring to the issue which I quoted within my post (perhaps) being fixed and now showing correctly

Thanks, My situation was that I am on a PS Flight booked with PMUA and had a 1K Sponsor my CR1's at the time. Outbound leg cleared at the 2 week mark. After the IT change on Saturday, I had a new locator and the Waring just as you described. In post 1 UA Insider updated today that its a known issue. I as a 1P waited 50 minutes then hung up.. Had my 1K sponsor conference us in on they answered in 2 minutes or so. Nice seasoned UA agent from HNL. She placed us on hold, had to wait for a supervisor/at help desk . Once they came on the line with her all solved. Reservation is now "updated and in sync" Warning dissapeared and I now officially waiting for R inventory to open, then the sweep I guess..

Hope this helps others..

Safe Travels

Partner earning levels appear to be mostly complete.. with the obvious exception of the Air Canada chart. However, is it safe to say that the other partner airline earning charts are finalized?

(If so, then great to see that many partner airlines will get 150% EQM for premium travel!)

If you're waitlisted with an instrument you don't have to wait for the sweep. If you see R, call and ask them to process the upgrade. Your 1K sponsor can call and have it done as well.

No worries

So yours didn't fix automatically the way mine did it take it? Now are you still waitlisted and if yes, does the red "warning" still show?

I can't believe this problem exist at Day 3 of merger.

Of course I don't have my new 1K card yet. I am glad that I am not traveling internationally this week.
This problem has existed flying US Airways with the OnePass number since mid-January. I flew second week of January and it happened.

There were also posts on it -- try to do a search on it any you should find some threads on this issue.

My best guess this is UA software issue, NOT US Airways problem as US Airways gets elite status directly from the UA computers.

I was hoping this also would have been fixed, but alas not yet. Without it saying "Star Gold" on it, you can't get free baggage checking or priority boarding.
