New [Plusgrade] upgrade system and SK ditches OT [2016-2022]

Since all my cash bids have been rejected 
so far I am going to switch to points 
I have just made bids for all 8 of my longhaul sectors from Plus to Business, I am fine in plus so my main advantage will be the extra Basic points so i would make Diamond faster.
Anyone have any recent success upgrading Plus to Business on MIA-OSL or ARN-HKG using points with plus grade? If so I am curious with what kind of bids pol are succeeding lately
Cash minimum bids were 3800SEK and 20000EB points min
I appreciate any input luckily with these upgrades its not a big deal either way as I booked Plus so I will arrive refreshed anyways

Bid 75 EUR for FRA-OSL and 45 EUR for OSL-SVG, Go --> Plus. I would like the longer segment to be accepted. we will see.

As a data point, both offers accepted and points credited to A3 within 48 hours.

Question on EB Bid Upgrades with Miles
Question: I have a EB account that is currently zeroed for miles.
I am pursuing and have bid on EB upgrades for some flights coming up in a couple of months.
Do I need to transfer adequate miles to support the upgrades into the account in advance of when they consider the bids in the days before the flights?
My intent, of course, would be to not "strand" miles in this account if the upgrades will not go through, and do it upon notice that my bid is accepted. But that may not be possible.
I'd appreciate your help.

The points will be deducted immediately on a successful upgrade bid so you need to have the required points on the account. Otherwise the chance for an upgrade is pretty much 0. And I'm not even sure if you can place the bid without the required points in your account.
