Alaska airlines disappears from reward redemption list tonight 08.30.24. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the planned AS maintenance that would start at 11pm on 08.31.24. It is more than 24 hours before the planned system maintenance yet it disappears from the eRewards reward list.
It would be a big disappointment if AS no longer participates eRewards.

It was there last night when a family member redeemed it.
Did UA or Hilton? disappeared for a while in distant past? I hope this is similar situation for AS is my almost sole redemption. The other one occasionally sprinkled in is BA now QR is on Avios and can readily take BA balance. BA also has a much better redemption rate too.

In response to my inquiry, E-rewards reports that Alaska will soon return:

Historically, signing up with an airline partner locks you into only redeeming for that airline but lets you redeem all available hotel programs.

Also, there seems to be an open eRewards invitation link on the Alaska Air page.

Same here. Can see all airlines and hotels. However the “not targeted” rate is over 70%, not to mention a great deal of the surveys are $1 to $2.59 range, plus lots of technical issues.

I've been noticing that my acceptance rate is low, always bouncing back to select new survey, only to be locked out of it, select new one. Not even minimum points. It's a bit discouraging and does not allow me to accumulate for a big redemption. Same thing with mypoints, I've decided to redeem for what I can now, and worry about latter. It was fun while it lasted, but over the years they've have made it harder and harder to earn.

There are one or two that work for me and are pretty easy. But if the quota is met for those, it goes infinite loop so I close the tab if it doesn’t immediately go to one of the easy surveys.
So I think it’s about a 5-10% success rate, which I tolerate because the bail point is within a few seconds of clicking on the link.

Any reason to stay with E-rewards?
We all used to earn some serious points here but (as we all know) the devaluation has been terrible. I rarely complete surveys anymore because I either get kicked out or I earn a small number of points. I am thinking of (1) just ending my membership or (2) just simply stop doing any surveys. I am very close to my desired reward and I figure I will get this last award and then do either of those options. Any opinions or advice?
Thanks.
