I finally got enough points for 7,000 Honors points this morning. When I checked my Hilton account this afternoon, the points were already there! Last month the transfer took only one day. They perfect the transfer time, then leave the program.

Common occurance lately is it says 1 more question and you are done, Boy do they mean it since I answered the last question and bingo get the 'You arent whom we are looking for', No Soup(credit) for you. when it happened every now and then that was not good but was able to handle it since Sun over 1 dz times this has happened. If it keeps up Im done with them

Take a screenshot at that point and complain. Nearly always it will be approved. If not, complain again. (happened to me, first one declined with some meager “goodwill” points, complained again got full credit.

Checked my Rewards options today and Hilton has indeed gone. I still haven't received any official notification of this change. I have one more Accor redemption to make (best option for a trip we plan to make) and then I think I'm done with e-rewards after 13 years. The survey reward:time ratio has been continuously reducing while the value of points with the programmes themselves have done the same, meaning the value of my time is getting hit twice. Hilton going is probably the push I needed to ditch e-rewards. I'd like to say it was fun while it lasted, but it frankly wasn't, although I hopefully did get some decent value for my time when there were still quite a few Hiltons for 5k points/night (thank you Turkiye)!

Hi
I was claiming some rewards today and the Virgin Atlantic option was no longer an option, I last claimed some on 1/11/24, did I miss something ?

They were the affiliate I signed up with and were my only airline available for redemption. They've gone from my account. I received no communication from e-rewards about them or Hilton disappearing,

In the long past when situation like this happened, your account would ten become eligible for all airline partners, Same applied to hotels. That was the reason why some of us have all airlines and all hotels available for redemption.

A small trick to save some points when redeeming for Avios (BA / IB)
Straightforward:
6500p = 2000 BA Avios
but if you redeem like this:
4000p = 1500 IB Avios
2000p = 500 BA Avios
you'll get the same 2000 Avios and save 500 points in the process. You can combine BA & IB Avios at your leisure.

I’ve discovered I’m halfway to the 10K elite-qualifying bonus with Alaska following a bunch of e-Rewards redemptions and a shopping portal purchase.
Any thoughts on if the ‘earn double miles with non-air partners’ 10K benefit would work with e-Rewards redemptions? It seems like it should since it’s not a transfer with a financial partner and they’re earning EQs.
So if it does work, 4K Alaska miles per 100 point redemption for six months could be a very useful earner.
Edit- fine print says it only doubles up to 2K, but I still might take it since I don’t have any immediate plans to fly Alaska

FWIW - I cashed in $100 this week for 2,000 United airlines miles. My wife then did the same a day later. Turns out we both used her United account number and BOTH have posted on her United account - two days apart. So the name and account name not matching didn't matter and only one redemption every 30 days didn't matter.

Good to know. We have gone from doing 2-3 redemptions a month each to barely being able to get one - so I hadn't run into the situation before. Thanks.
