You can definitely book a W fare with a 2 days stopover in DOH as all QR fares allow a free 96 hours stopover in DOH, if you don't have any other stopover on your ticket. Here's an example :



The jump from W to S might be due to some W fare rule breaking when adding your stopover. For example, W fare requires 6 days or saturday night spent at destination (BKK).
Or it may be caused by no seat availability in W, as when you combine 2 sectors (MUC-DOH and DOH-BKK), QR seat availability is determined by their married segment rules (you may have availability in W class in MUC-DOH and in DOH-BKK but not for MUC-DOH-BKK and strangely it also works in reverse...).

You should call the nearest QR office, notice often that in case of stopover you cannot book directly from QR website

Did you try ON A MOBILE? here in Ger its says you have to book ON A mobile, it doesn't give a code, just says ".. book via mobile phone..."

Le code promo n'est valable sur aucun itinéraire où Doha est la destination finale.

They talk about a code in the french conditions, but the layout page with the code disapeared.
Also Doha cannot be the final destination (english version seem to allow )

In the english version they said

Offer applies exclusively for bookings made on mobile devices. Purchases can only be made through qatarairways.com

So only booking mobile and without application .

Anyway rates do not change...
