I plan on using the buses for the most part. I will be staying at Four Queens, so I will have to take a bus downtown the first night, and again when I go to the strip.

Good question. I looked at the terms and yes, looks like the hotel portion is indeed refundable or 'changeable.'.

So still wondering if I should contact them. Has anyone done something similar?

I no-showed without checking in for both the flight connected to the hotel I stayed in and the hotel for the flight I took.

I think the problem is this. If the trip total is less than $300 it should be $0 however it is not working out like that, for example these are my charges:

11/23/2010 11/23/2010 Fee FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE(Other)
$7.44
11/21/2010 11/21/2010 Refund FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE(Other)
$-7.39
11/20/2010 11/21/2010 Return EXPEDIA*TRAVEL(Travel)
$-246.45
11/19/2010 11/23/2010 Sale Airline(Travel)
$248.29

so this mean I end up paying about $2. But if my total was less than $300 I should be refunded an equal amount that I was charged.

Hmm, first timer to Vegas? The Four Seasons is the top two (?) levels at Mandalay Bay. Just valet park there. About the only place that charges for parking in Vegas is self parking downtown. Valet parking at malls might have a fee as well but other than that valet parking is free at every casino.

Ah- so many (? most) of you guys are staying only the one night? I'm in for two.

(Also, funny you use the Canadian date-standard "DD-MM"; right after I'd booked my reservation I was stunned for a minute as I'd thought I'd done the wrong date!)

Yup, left that off. You need a lot of one dollar bills in Vegas. Drinks $1, valet $2 (if you are a cheap bugger like me) and it goes on and on.

I booked two tickets - one each for myself and my wife for Vegas. We both have the standard basic room at Bally's. What happens if I get an upgrade at the hotel (paying more, asking them to "combine" the two rooms to give us a nicer room, $20 trick, etc)? How does that affect the T&C.

TIA.

I always tip girls in the casinos $5. After 2 drinks they feel bad and tell me that they don't want more tips for the rest of the night. They always think that its my first time in Vegas Thanks to two $5 tips I get extra special service and they make sure that I always have glass in my hand.
