I have never seen a meal plan that has allowed this. In fact, almost all plans are built to prohibit this. Otherwise, many folks would do it.

For myself, I would still do the a la carte as with free breakfast (as an elite), I was quite full till dinner time. The dinner portions were more than enough to fill me up.

So, regarding the all-inclusive plan... curious about a few things.
1) Am I correct in interpreting the document as lunch is whatever you want from the menu, but dinner is a fixed 3-course menu? Or are they just saying you can choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert?
2) Given the 4 day minimum someone said, and it having to be for the remainder of your stay... in theory if we have an 8 night stay, we could do a la carte for the first 4 nights, see how it goes, and then opt to do all-inclusive for the last 4 nights?
We've done a few of these more "luxury" all-inclusive add-ons before (what I mean by that is it's an all inclusive option on an otherwise a la carte setup, not a hotel designed for ALL all inclusive), and usually find them to be worth it, but the seemingly picky restrictions on only certain cocktails being included and the set menus seem odd, if I'm interpreting that correctly.
Would love to hear from someone who's actually chosen to do the all-inclusive option and how it went. Also, the 375ml bottles being included in the mini-bar could possibly sway our decision haha.

Great questions, I am interested in these perspectives as well. Especially since I like the vacation cocktails a little too much. ha ha
One note - read the fine print on the mini bar inclusions. They include the half bottles of wine, but they dont restock those every day if you consume them.

1. no, same it seems that you can pick anything off the menu for each course each meal (she said anything but I assume it excludes the more expensive items)
2. Yes. We did a la carte the first day and I’m thinking of doing a meal plan for the back 5 or 6 nights I’m here. Will update once I’m on it what new information I can shed

All-inclusive
They seem to be adjusting and adapting the meal plan. Checking in on a redemption booking, we were offered half board and all inclusive only . The full board plus wasn’t offered. She did honour eventually after querying and referencing the previous mentions here. They have released the all inclusive menu at Veela. The offering is somewhat complicated at veela , lunch for full board consist of 2 choices from the main menu . 3 course Dinner for full board plan at Veela is the same list from all inclusive menu. Drinks for full board is any selection from all inclusive menu .
Some posting of the food ordered from main menu . They were really good . The portions are not too tiny.

Now I see a post from earlier today that says it's no longer a limited menu. Can anyone confirm? phasher99 Great news!

Even after 3 weeks since checkout hotel didn’t post the points / stay credit themselves and also ghosted me when I emailed to ask.

Checked out last sunday, was told that i will get no points if paying with giftcards.
Check out process took about 3 hours, gave them the gift card codes before breakfast, after breakfast the final bill wasn´t ready yet, after another 2 hours i could finally pay.

You won't get your credit card points but there's no reason why you wouldn't get Marriott points for the stay.

I also used my Amex Brilliant card for the $300 Marriott travel credit and the point multiplier was correct there. Just FYI in general - keep your receipts and check your cc statements after your stay here

We were just there in September! Fantastic place! Dharvjit cooks the most mazing Indian food in the morning for breakfast! Wish we were still there.
