If I have a permanent card and purchase a new temporary card (there are stores near me that sell MVD, but not VR), is there any way to transfer the balance from the new temp card to my permanent card? Or any other options? The only way I can see to activate a new card is to go through the registration process online for a new permanent card, but this will limit me to just 3. I would like to continue to purchase more than 3 of these. Feel free to PM if necessary.

Original mis-load incident was June 30, with last bank withdrawal July 3.

As card was showing still active, I loaded 1k on the 10th, then 1k on the 12th, and was able to do 2k CA at bank right after that. As of today still active.

So I guess I slipped through. :eek:

Looks like mine was shutdown today several hrs ago. Cannot login and no errors. CA @ 4:00pm was successful. What did me in was the cashier CA'ed 10 cents more, I believe so now after the 1.95 I have negative balance of $.10 cents.

BP how?
 

I havent gotten the pernament card as of yet and have loaded the temp numerous times. Went to do a BP and for the life of me I cant find the way to do it. Havent set a PIN either. Is BP only possible once you get and acrtivate your permanent card? TIA

I don't believe you can do billpay from My Vanilla Debit card. It is either MO or CA to get funds out. That is what I have been doing sporadically. But I might be mistaken.

Do folks get shut down for buying MOs? I'm about to start getting them with this card, if it makes sense to do so.

Some were shut down earlier. These days I think they are just throttling/denying purchases if its too large and back to back.

You can def use MVD for BP...have been using it for this for past couple months at WM with no prob

Is $500 the official max to be loaded with 1 fee? Is there a way to do more in one shot?

Does WalMart have a maximum on the bill amount you can pay via their bill pay service?

There is a whole thread on this, it's on the first page. After $2,500 they start asking questions...

At the same time, WM BP is more limited by 4 cards max to do a BP, since most people operate with $500 GCs.

MyVanilla Personal Reloadable Prepaid Card
 

Hi everyone! I am brand new to travel hacking and this is my first post on FlyerTalk. I hope someone can help me!

I've recently opened up a Bluebird account with the intent of putting money from the Vanilla Reloadable Cards in it. I went to CVS but I think I bought the wrong card :( I have the MyVanilla Personal Reloadable Prepaid Card and can't figure out for the life of me how to add it to Bluebird.

I had to sign up for an account at myvanilladebitcard.com, and then they said they'd send me a permanent card in the mail. I'm pretty sure I got the wrong vanilla card to use with Bluebird.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I am really frustrated and don't know what to do. How do I get my money off of this card??

There is probably discussion in other threads about this. I persoanlly do ot have an experience with it, but I am sure online you could set up a PIN for it. Then head to Wally World and get a money order. They charge 70 cents for the money order, but I am unsure of the fees associated with MyVanilla.
