Also looks like the 2.5k / day limit is rolling 24 hrs and not calendar day. Just made a bank trip and wasted gas! :td:

I do not like you, Sam I Am.
And, that goes for you, too, MVD! $1.95 fee because I chose a MO instead of a CA. Really? :td: My OJT with these folks is not going swimmingly.... I miss my Emerald already! :D |
My Vanilla debit
Once they've shut you down is there a way to get back in their good graces? When I try to register MVDs I now get told they can't verify me and the card is immediately in limited spend down mode (no ATM access). I can do a 499.41 MO at Kroger with the .59 fee take it to zero , but who wants a ton of $499.41 money orders. Plus activation requires talking to a real person.

Apparently Prasha will continue to believe on Wednesday the same thing he believed on Monday, regardless of what happened on Tuesday.
Prasha, are you not reading these posts? Many many many people in this thread have found a way to make MVD work for them, even after the recent spate of shutdowns. So why do you insist that "no one has found a way?" Many of us here are trying to help others reap the benefits of MVD, the same way we have benefited. Kindly leave us alone already. If you have other methods of MS that you prefer, good for you. Go provide some constructive feedback in those threads. U need to read the posts before Monday, the MVD long history, U’ll see that the big dogs barking louder than you left town with tail between their legs! Do what U like with your own money but spare others with their hard earned money, I want to remind people of the risks with MVD and not get sucked into something they did not expect. U have a problem with that? Keep it to your self…… |
I have two cards, I usually spend 4K per month each (total of 8K/month). In Feb. both are on Spend down after spending 2K/month each. Strange!

What is the risk of hard earned money? Sounds like worst case you get put into spend down mode and you have to empty your card(s) and move along.
If u curious, read the thread |

I assume if the days total max is rolling then most likely it also will be the same for the weekly and monthly amounts. Got to set up a spread sheet to make sure the max limits are breached = being shut down |
Anyone knows if mvd works with squarecash?

MVD had questionable history/reputation, expect the unexpected.
If u curious, read the thread It's all about our preferences, how much risk we want to take. What doesn't work for you might work for others. You warned us, you said it all, now move to another thread and ignore this one! MVD is not going to steal anyone's money. It's the game we play, it's the risks we take. |
Indeed, and Barclays ain't gonna game your interest rates and HSBC ain't gonna get caught laundering drug money. This old auditor is selling a bridge from Miami to Cuba - any takers?:p
