I am going strong with my two MVD's right now. Expecting to be shutdown soon as I've ramped it up the past few months, but so far, so good, so I can't complain.

Do tell! Circles and arrows would be nice since I don't have time to read about it the Wall Street Journal or listen to NPR. <g>

Vanilla Reload has a new screen yesterday and today my attempts to reload an MVD are met with card invalid. Been out of town so had no MVD reload attempts in the past 30 days. Just used the MVD yesterday for a purchase. Have never done any bank CAs. Balance left on MVD is over $100.

Wondering whether the VR new screen and MVD inability to reload are related? Additional datapoints?

I get my Obama check DD to MVD.

Why are you still spending time in this thread? You've repeatedly voiced your anti-MVD opinion. It's time for you to accept the fact that others are pro-MVD and still going strong with it. If you've got so much going on elsewhere in the MS world, then go contribute something positive to those threads. Your negativity is not needed here, nor is it very constructive.

I loaded MVD just fine through the VR website the last two days. When I've had problems in the past, I usually just switch over to a different browser and that works fine. Or wait a few hours and try again.

I don't believe BB is anymore valuable or bullet proof from say GD, NS, GB, RC, or any other debit cards. People have and will get shutdown with a BB account if you don't "find a more transactional method of unloading" that's not in the form of ATM or BPing yourself.

That said... I think BB is a bit of a hassle in that it can take a week or two for the receiver to receive money. Not the best way to plan for timely payment.

BP from bb takes 2 days

Unfortunately some people on this forum have reported much longer periods.

We need to understand that MSing nets a rather small margin per transaction. Any delay or issue can eat up the small margin pretty quickly. Minimizing problems and/or account closure is the key to max profit.

It doesn't make sense to be spending 2 hours to resolve an issue that has profit potential of less than $100.

That payee probably doesn't except electronic payments. In that case, a paper check has to mailed out. That goes the same for any other bill pay services, not just BB.
