I doubt it, but if you want to be safe, 123 Cherry St. Apt A and 123 Cherry St Apt B and so on should get around that.

But won't they mail the card to that address? My postal delivery person has enough trouble when things are routine.

As of today one of my WMs is no longer accepting Vanillas without your name on them. Apparently there is some significant fraud going on. Other brands and my MyVanilla with my name it were ok.

That sucks, because I just found a good source for them.

This might be why the 7-11 near me pulled them off the shelves...

Went to speedy gas station yesterday and they had none of these cards. Lady said she's been ordering them the past 2-3ish weeks but haven't been getting them in.

I was waiting for it to happen. Nothing storewide is out around here, but at least one cashier refuses to do any more for me. She is uneasy about a guy with so many "debit cards".

I was assuming you had a standalone home (street #, street name). In such cases, it will get to you... they don't care how you name the "apartments" within your house. If you actually live in an apt, then you have to be a little more creative.

Two of my 3 MVDs were originally set up and mailed to 2 completely different addresses. Once I got shut down, all 3 got shut down. I'm assuming it's tied to your SSN, not your address.

What about the OneVanilla card? I just got one but I guess it's not reloadable and just a gift card...

tgg: you signed up for all of them with the same ss and diff addresses?

What does "spend down" mode mean? I have checked and my card shows that status now!

oneworld82 Feb 9, 2014 2:10 pm

Also, are we allowed to open multiple accounts?

It means you're done. Do a quick search of this thread for "spend down."

I haven't read all of this thread, but I've come back from the grave on all of 3 of my cards at various times. One time I was told by CSR I was in spend down mode, but 6 months later I could use the card again. Other times I've been locked out of logging in, but got access days or even months later. These cards are a bit of a pain in the ... for the fear of what will happen, but if you do think you are shut down, keep the card and try again later and see if it's working again.

At the moment, I have an active card and a spend down one. Can I open more?
