After being put into spend-down mode, I went to WM and purchased MO's to wipe out the balances. No issue whatsoever, I'll just miss having another card to feed VR into.

When you spend down, keep in mind that the MVD transaction fee hits the account only after the actual transaction. Maybe it's a small consolation with the last debit being cheaper.

I got my balance on my first card down to exactly zero and then called to cancel.
Not worth the aggravation for me after all the recent reports of shutdowns. I'll be doing the same with my second card shortly.

Why did you bother to cancel?

Because I'm not messing with it anymore...and to avoid the inactivity fees.

I gotta be honest: I'm surprised at what a relief it is to finally have been shut down by these guys. It was a lot of work trying to stay under their radar!

I think if we can agree and accept that MS is a game then we should accept that fact that acct closures is just part of the cat and mouse game.

Start with a few cards and modify our approach as new info becomes available. We should never rely on a single product for our successes.

MVD is not MS game....In a game the rules are understood by both the sides, when one side takes the ball home in the middle of the game, leaves U standing there, and U have to call the police, U are being 'played', being smart is not enough but need to be wise!

Interesting Data point: After I got the spend down mode, tried to use my funds(520) and got declines. I spoke to an agent who told me that monthly activity limit on the card is 5000(Mine was 7500) and she put in a request to increase my monthly limit.

Think this is BS as I used it at WM to BP 2000(ideally should have cleaned out). Does anyone have same experience like me?

TG for friends who don't have the patience or time or will to play the MVD game. Back in biz , but will keep it to 1 card at a time. And for the min spends to get the bonuses, better then nothing and cheapest way to accomplish the job

All three cards finally in spend down mode as of today, all with balance between $1 and $2 at the time.

we all think that accts are suspended left and right. What about the millions of MVD out there that are owned by folks that don't read these forums or don't know about the game. If we could find out how the "lower" class works with these cards, we would know once and for all. I know that if you never use the VR route, you will never get shutdown. But then again, that would make too much money for Incomm. So basically, don't load more then 2 per month and I figure you'll be OK. My wife and I have 6 cards total for 12K/ month and no shutdowns yet. Withdraw MO for 430-450. each at WM. Also spend 4.00-5.00 month purchasing items with the cards.
