Good to hear! you just did this today?!

I know I would not have been the first one to announce bad news. Too many people should have known if it were true. OK, will go to another bank and give a try tomorrow.

Oh I wish I meant what you thought I did. In that post, I was addressing the Chase teller "only being able to try once."

What's the current daily max to take out as a CA on a MVD and max per transaction? My experience is the most you can load per day from VR is $2.5K but I've never tried to CA anything more than $2.5K once per day. Anyone, anywhere?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered. Is there a monthly spend limit on this card? I have loaded a fairly significant amount this month. My account still shows as active, and I can log in and get my balance by phone, but I can't seem to use the card at all. I was hoping to use it to make a tax payment, but it won't go through. I thought maybe it was the $3k limit, but even a $50 swipe to purchase goods at the store won't process. I think it may be because I've already used it for taxes this month. I'll wait until the beginning of March to try again, but if there's some rolling 30 day spend limit or something that I'm missing in the faq, please let me know!

I got my online MVD card in the mail today.

I am not going to wonder how long I can keep it open. But, I will ask:

Would someone offer me three tips to not violate this new form of debit? Including safe maximum reload amounts daily, monthly, for the risk averse? Also, am I to understand there is a $.50 charge per transaction, for example, if I bought a grocery store brand GC and got cash back, I get hit with this annoying fee?

I confess I did not read all 2000+ posts on this thread.

From what I can gather, best way to liquidate is:

1. Cash advance at bank. Blogs suggest BOA. I bank there (sparingly) and Chase. So, I figure the worst answer I get from either is "NO". The branches are across the street from each other. Albeit, the street is wide, ie, I still have traffic to deal with. That's why I never see a chicken trying to cross the road there! :D

2. MOs. Will try my grocer. Already did my WM stop for the week.

3. I don't know....I just got this card to try it out because I am still locked out from BB. Can I just use it to do APs to cash out through third party?

THANKS in advance for kind responses. :)

Looks like limit has changed in last 6 months. I have done 6k ca 6 months ago, today 2 attempts for 5k failed. Called mvd was advised 2.5k max daily ca limit.

Any method of unloading which does not require leaving your home or standing in line for MOs would qualify as enlightenment.

Different enlightenment for different reward categories.

5 cards shut down, 2 new ones and thus far it seems if a person stays under the max limits, no problems. Is there another card that allows $9500 per month? Most BancCorp products shut you down when you load $3k or unload $3k BBs are $5k per month
