Very true indeed. This is one of the best lounges I have been in.

I usually do the 35 min transfer - if the outbound flight is one on a regularly flown route. If you make it, it's a perfect connection, couldn't be better. If not, e.g. due to a delay on the inbound flight, they will rebook you on a flight a little later. This is clearly the case for Berlin.
However, if the outbound flight out of Munich is one only operating once a day (or even less), I wouldn't take the risk.

Overnight connection
Hi!
I’m passing through Munich in a few weeks. Due to the flight times, I’ve got an overnight stopover from 2305-0915. There is no same day LH connection (LHR-KIV). Is there any chance of LH paying for a hotel room for me? I’m Lufthansa Silver if that makes a difference. Otherwise, I noticed FRA has put up some campbeds/cots in the passageway leading from the C to B gates in the non-Schengen area – does MUC have something similar? Or else, I heard that Munich now has ‘Nap Cabs’ near gate H32. Has anyone tried one of these? Are the good for overnight stays? Is it possible to book them in advance?
On the way back, I have a 5 hour connection mid-afternoon. Is there a good Christmas market to visit in Munich? (I’ve been to Munich before, so not in a rush to go sightseeing)
Thanks for any assistance!

I walked past H32 in MUC the other day but didn't notice any Nap Cabs. I wish I'd known about them as I might have had a closer look. Apparently there are only two, and they cannot be pre-booked. The charge is €15 per hour with the minimum stay of 2 hours.

I just had a CPH-HKG flight via MUC. On the outward journey I didn't need to go through security (from G to H), only immigration. However on the way back, I had to go through security from H to G area. Could I have avoided security?

The short answer is no. On the way out you arrived from an EU country, so there was no need to go through security. On the way back you arrived from a non-EU country, so you had to go through security. I assume you actually arrived on Level I.

You mainly get a ride from your aircraft if it is at an apron position - which is an advantage of flying in from BHX. If you have a really short connection from an apron position, you may get a ride directly to your gate. Otherwise they take you to the FCL.

I'm heading home today with the following itinerary
1950 - 2050 BSL MUC
2140 - 2255 MUC TXL
A colleague of mine told me that in 90% of the cases the inbound from BSL is at least 20-30mins late.
Usually a short connection in MUC is doable from my experience. However, assuming the inbound is really that late I believe a 15-20mins connection gets really difficult.
In case it is really thight, is there a chance they pick me up with a special bus and drive me directly to the TXL gate? I've only seen this for groups of passengers so far and more on long haul connections.
No HON unfortunately

Term 2 to Term 1 in MUC: Min time needed?
Flying from FMO to MUC on Lufthansa, arriving into terminal 2 at 8:00, departing from terminal 1 at 9:40, Delta MUC to ALT.
Haven't connected through MUC in a long time, so any feedback is appreciated....
- Min connection time
- Walk or take a shuttle bus/tram between terminals
- Location of Delta counter in case of problems (I will check in online)
Thanks!

DL is in T1B, walking from the bus drop off to T1B will take about 10 mins. The transfer bus is about 15 mins. I would walk and take in the sights, MUC is a nice airport to see.
