That is to say that I have to transfer from T2S to T2? See, I'm already glad I asked.
Those Camel lounges are great and I will take your advice and do my transfer first and fine one close to departure gate.
Priority #4 will likely fall off the list but I'll survive I'm sure.

But even with transfer, you will have plenty of time to stop for a smoke, and even a drink in the lounge, if there isn't a significant delay.

They are this week only. Used them yesterday, and there is an announcement on the LH website ( though somewhat odd, mentioning they are running during week 33, instead of the dates)

Hi, folks!
My wife and I will be transiting via MUC T2 in a couple of months and I am looking for some advice of expert Fters on what will be the best way to spend our time there, since it will be the first time for us in this terminal. This is our itinerary:
FCO-MUC T2 arrival at 15:50h (Lufthansa - Business Class)
MUC T2(or T2S)-SIN departure at 22:30h (Lufthansa - Business Class)
Based on our travel class (business), destination (SIN) and being holders of an Amex Platinum, it seems we could get access to Senator lounges in T2S, though it seems this flight usually departs from H doors. My questions are:
- Which is the best lounge in your opinion among the ones we have access to?
- Is there any problem for transiting between Schengen/Non-Schengen T2 zones and vice-versa or would it be better to remain inside non-schengen and not leaving once we arrive from FCO?
- Do you think is it worth to leave the airport and visit the city (our total layover is 6h 40m)?
- Does the airport offer any other entertainment or interesting things to do that could ease our layover?
Thank you for your advice!
Wygun.

I would say going to the city might cut it a bit short, you'll only have around 2-3h considering travel time from/to the airport, but definitely more interesting than spending all your time in the lounge.
If you stay at the airport, having a beer at Airbräu in front of T2 landside is a nice way to spend some time. If you want some fresh air take the S-Bahn one stop to Besucherpark and walk to the visitor's park and climb up the observation hill to spend some time plane watching, if that's your thing. T2 has its own small observation deck on the top floor (outside security) where you can get some air if you don't want to leave the airport.

Transiting between T2 and T2S is no problem at all, same for Schengen/Non-Schengen. Both T2S Senator Lounges are more or less the same, only difference is the staffed bar in the Non-Schengen one.

I'm hardly an expert on Munich, but I think you can catch a frequent train (S-bahn) from MUC direct to Marienplatz in the center of town, 40 minute or so ride? Marienplatz is the beautiful main square of Munich, with the famous animated clock on the city hall (you must see it in action so stick around a bit until the clock chimes). The square is very scenic itself, and nearby is the outdoor food market, and a shopping district of mostly pedestrian streets, looking old style. I have fond memories of having a beer and a wurst at some biergarten complete with accordian player just off the square. Especially if the weather is nice, it would be a fun way to spend a few hours.

You should be at Marienplatz around 17.00. Take a train back to the airport at around 20.00 (19.59 and 20.19 take 36 minutes), giving you about 90 minutes at the airport for security check and a short visit to the lounge. This will give you 3 hours downtown, which would be fine for some shopping, sightseeing and dinner.
Personally I know Munich well, and I would have my own favourite shops to visit, but as for tourist tips, the recommendation would vary with when you are in Munich. Is your stopover between Sept. 22 and Oct 7 (i.e. Oktoberfest-time?) or are you there between Nov. 27 and Dec 24 (Christmas market)? If during Octoberfest, you could jump off the train at Hauptbahnhof or Hackerbrücke to see the festivities, but you could have trouble getting into any of the tents, and the time is probably a bit short for that. The Christmas Market (Christkindlmarkt) is right at Marienplatz, and would be a great place for strolling around. As for traditional dining (beer hall style) you are close to the Hofbräuhaus, Haxenbauer and Franziskaner.
You will probably miss the Glockenspiel that was recommended. It plays at 11 am and 12 am year round, and until the end of October also at 5 pm (17.00). With an arrival at MUC at 15.50, you should be very effective through the airport in order to hit Marienplatz before 17.00.

Is there a secondary screening at MUC for connections domestic to US?
I'm flying TXL-MUC-BOS on LH. The arrival and departure are listed as terminal 2, though I gather that also includes a satellite terminal? I have a bunch of time so was hoping to spend some time at one of the lounges (star gold gets me into any of the lounges, I believe?) and pick up some German mustard at an airside shop. But if I have to go through another security clearing because it is a US flight, they would take my Senf Do I have to worry, and which lounge should I hang out in, or is it best to just go to the one nearest my departure gate? Thanks!
