Does anyone know if Canada is consider a "clean" country of origin? Flying YUL-MUC-AUH tomorrow (last leg an LH codeshare operated by Etihad, single ticket on Lufthansa stock). Trying to figure out if I will need to clear security in MUC or just go to gate.

Today LH475 arrives T2-H44 and EY6 leaves T2-H38; but on my LH Gatemap (from 2017) there's a Checkpoint at H39.
Even with today's delay of 475, there's one hour to pass this one. So likely to see security, but in a "not so crowdy area" *cough* and gate distance is very close.

If the OP would need to clear security, the arrival gate would have been I or M gates that he would arrive. For who doesn't know there is a separate level above the Non-Schengen level which passengers arriving from selected countries are directed. In this case, arrival gates are marked as I for the main building and M for the satellite building.

Superbly helpful all. As pointed out by PAX_fips, I've got lots of time, but if there is no security I can plan for breakfast in the senator lounge without a rush. I'll hope to not see an I/M arrival gate.
Either way will be much more pleasant than my usual hub: FRA!

No immigration or security check. Just a 5 minute walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. 40 minutes would also be acceptable for this short connection.

Flying LH 2272 (from NCE) and connecting to LH494 (to YYZ). I have a 40min connection but LH2272 tends to run a bit late. Is the process that I following signs for connections, go through exit passport control and then I am in gate area for LH494? Or is there a security screening as well?
Trying to figure out how fast I may need to run

If it's in a single ticket, you don't need to pick up your bags in MUC. Your bags would be transferred all the way to Sweden. You would arrive at Terminal 1 and you would need to pass to Terminal 2 for your next flight. You could either clear passport control at Terminal 1 upon arrival and use the landside route which would take no longer than 10-15 minutes or you could use the transfer bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 and clear passport control over there. Assuming that you are a non-EU citizen, sometimes passport control for non-EU citizens in Terminal 1 could be a pain but as PAX_fips mentioned you would have time to enjoy a German pretzel and a beer at Terminal 2 or you could enjoy the lounge if you're traveling on Business Class.

My apologies if this is covered above - it's a long thread.
Connecting from LH 791 (SIN-MUC) to LH 2226 (MUC-CDG) and the published connection time is 55 minutes. In Business class if that is relevant - probably not.
It's a legal connection so probably doable, but can we expect immigration plus security, or immigration only?
Thanks
