Connecting in Munich [MUC]

I'll be connecting in MUC in September from Geneva on LH2389 to LH790 to Singapore.
It's quite tight but I assume if LH allowed me to book it, it should be fine.
Now that I look at LH2389's history, it's always a bit delayed... Now i'm starting to worry a bit: on paper I only have 45min layover but out of the past 7 days, 2 landed 20min late, one 50min late and May 23rd landed in NUE....
If really I miss the connection due to late arrival, will LH take care of rebooking me on the next available flight? It's on a single ticket.

H and L gates are for International arrivals and departures, the first in T2 and the second in the Satellite terminal of T2.If you arrive from EWR and continue to, say, Delhi, you don't need to pass through Immigration / passport control.
G and K gates are for Schengen arrivals and departures. So if you are travelling within / between Schengen countries, and you arrival is in G or K, no need to clear immigration.

I am planning a trip for early August from EWR to Ibiza. I explore different options with separate tickets but I think it would be best for me to keep the flying to United/Lufthansa thus will be connecting in MUC. United's flight from EWR arrives at the H gates and LH's flight to Ibiza departs from the K gates. The United app is extremely helpful in showing routine between the two gates but I still not clea whether I will have to clear immigration before boarding the flight to IBZ. Are there any immigration facilities at IBZ or will I have to go through immigration and collect my checked bag in MUC? The connection time is about 1.5hr which may be a bit too tight for me to be comfortable with. How does that sound?
In Germany the passports are checked by the police, the customs clearance is done by customs officials: two distinct agencies.

If your inbound flight is slightly delayed you might get a direct transfer to the DME flight.

Just as well since it’s also raining.
Yes, very poor that they don’t do the FCL shuttle.

Hi,
I would like to have an understanding of the transfer process from the experienced for an upcoming flight. I always transfer in FRA (which is hell as we all know) and have no experience with MUC. I want to understand if I will have any lounge/smoking lounge time.
Inbound from DUS, 14:10 T2 (EW)
Outbound to YVR, 15:35 T2 (LH)
Same terminal but no idea about gates. I'm not worried I won't have enough time to connect, more wondering how MUCH time I'll have and whether I have time for both a smoke (1st 2nd and 3rd priority ) and then a snack in a lounge.

MUC has smoking lounges throughout the terminals. Like FRA. Just be mindful that on some days the train between T2 and T2S (satellite) does not run and you have to take a bus. Takes about 20 Minutes longer, so I’d recommend you have your smokes near where your flight departs. Lounge would be priority number 4 then, I guess...
Those Camel lounges are great and I will take your advice and do my transfer first and fine one close to departure gate.
Priority #4 will likely fall off the list but I'll survive I'm sure.
