The answer is yes. Actually, all nights for which you are the registered guest, and that you pay using points, cash, nights certificates will count towards ALL the counts for your WOH profile.

As a globalist do I understand correctly that if you book a standard room on the website or app then when it comes time to check in or possibly before you are sometimes upgraded on the app? And if it is a good upgrade you might consider checking in immediately and if not then ask at the hotel at check in if a better upgrade was available?

Can't hurt to ask if something higher is available - not all of them are Standard Suites though.

My spouse and I both have two free night award certs through the WOH card that don't expire until Dec 2022. I've tried to book several Cat 1-4 properties I've booked awards in the past like the Grand Hyatt Seoul and Hyatt Centric Waikiki using the award finder search and just normally searching using points.
I've found available rooms on points (15,000) but it says I don't have enough points to book. It used to be that the system would detect my free night awards and apply them in lieu of the 15,000 points required. Is there something I'm doing wrong or do I have to call Hyatt to book these?

Also I read what other's have posted but if anyone has more articles etc to read on maximizing globalist I would really appreciate it and take up less time of your than asking these questions.
