The website was down last night when I needed to book a last minute reservation to NYC, did not have the time to wait and play around with the Hyatt website so my Finance Director told me to book us at the Trump SoHo.
Been trying to join Hyatt Gold Passport over the past month or so at random intervals, and every I hit submit at the last step, keep getting this error:
Tried multiple browsers. Same issue.
I'm not just having bad luck and my random times I try, have coincided with the site being down for some reason? Seems improbable.

First I tried playing with .......'s preferences and my hosts file, but I could't stop the pop-under.
That is really really annoying Bill. Please give us a preference to turn that off.

Now, I'm getting it from the sign in pull-down on a hotel page.
You know, this is a great way to really tick off your best customers. PLEASE give us a preference to turn that off and/or stop being so agressive by bypassing a browsers normal pop-up blockers. If a users preference is no pop-ups does anybody at Hyatt marketing think its a good idea to bypass that preference?
I'm not having this problem from the other roomkey partners. It's just Hyatt.

Hyatt website down
For about the last hour, the hyatt.com website either gives an error message when I try to search/book hotels or displays a "down for maintenance" page. It seems surprising to do this during the business day rather than in the middle of the night for most USA time zones.

Nothing at all exotic. Just a USA urban area, although I was searching by airport.
It worked now for me and I may have grabbed the last regular room in the property. Thanks.

Issues with the Hyatt website are not at all uncommon, see the thread below...

It's up, and I can access my GP account, but when I click on account details or show all reservations, I get sent to the log in page again, and of course, it doesn't allow me to log in either.

I have frequently found the mobile app continues to work when the main site is down, so that can be a handly backup.
Cheers!
