I asked about bringing reusable water bottles before but if you don’t bring one, what type of water bottles / cups / glasses do they give you in the room? I can’t remember at all what we’d bring in our beach bag if going to the beach for a few hours ... I’m pretty sure we did bring water with us - do they have plastic water bottles in the room?

Do water villas have US outlets? If not, which nation’s outlet-type is typically featured?

Anyone met the piano player Lang Lang in Rangali during his stay? Saw on Instagram that he celebrated his birthday at Ithaa yesterday.

Also, I saw these for sale at my local supermarket last night. Chase Freedom has a 5% cash back for grocery store purchases. I was thinking of stocking up before my next visit:

Of course I used them!! I couldn’t remember - it’s been a while since we were there I hadn’t even thought of adaptors until it was mentioned here a couple of days ago so clearly my subconscious knew adaptors weren’t necessary!

Upgrades from Water Villa
Got back some unexpected numbers on a request for rates upgrading from water villa Jan 2020. At $260/nt for a superior water villa and $450/night for deluxe water villa, is the DWV more worth it for the extra space and separation? Are the DWV definitely being renovated this year? Can anyone comment on swimming in the current around the DWVs lately?

I just posted a question on the WA Maldives forum, but realized there is more activity on this forum. Don't want to create double responses so posting a link to the original post here is case anyone has some info they could share.
