Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

I am leaning towards saying something like "I'm the president of the 'If you can't fix it with Gaffa tape, you haven't used enough'-group and if I win the ticket me and the chairman of the board will take this trip in order to nominate Finnair for this years awards, as the "Best Gaffa in the air".

A minor promotion but might be of interest for some.
Nordic Choice has just opened their two new hotels in Helsinki (Vanda and downtown) and is offering "20%" off. Now, these 20% is calculated from list prices so in the end it is just a few euros lower than the cheapest rate - however you get the flexible booking for 86€ which is pretty decent.
Lowest advertised price is 88€ for non flex (found here), and this "sale" is 86€ for flex booking within a much longer stay period. Book before 14 Dec, stay before 17 April. It is a targeted promo so I am not posting link here but if anyone is interested I can PM it.
Also, Nordic Choice have partnered with Finnair and this is a double dip deal as far as I can see - you can earn to Nordic Choice club and to Finnair. Details here (in swedish)

I have an odd hotel booking to be done and I would like to use rocketmiles or any other which gives a first-timer some promo points a la Pointshound. There used to be at least rocketmiles promo one time but I never used it. Cannot find any usable, any advice anyone?

Well, another top level card to the collection. 1 fulfilled SPG Plat challenge brought in already quite a few of those
They don't really know the competition. For Hilton Honers (!) the top level is "Platinum" in their dropdown list
