Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

N.b. The Finnair Plus member’s primary mailing address must be in Sweden, Norway or Denmark.

Okay, let's test AY IT a bit My address is definitely not based in Sweden, but I signed up anyway. And received the confirmation email. And will fly HEL-ARN and ARN-HEL in November on two separate tickets, one of which originally originates in Sweden. I'll report back to let you know the outcome.

Oh crap! I noticed my November flight ARN-HEL is indeed in W. I guess HEL-ARN will not qualify, and neither will my 03OCT ARN-HEL (in R), for which I haven't yet received the miles.

But you were lucky last time in a case like this, no?
It doesn't bother me that I won't get the 1000+ extra points from the ARN flights, and I'm not even entitled to them. But it would have been (and will be, thanks to Jainzar) interesting to see whether a company which is not capable of running a decent booking engine or of ridding their MMB of a whole lot of minor errors would actually go as far as to differentiate their FF members by country and program a promo that lets everyone sign up but then manages to award the points only to the qualified ones...

As if the Suunto campaign doesn't give away enough points to random lucky people, Finnair is now organizing a raffle among all members who update their profile info. One winner will be drawn and the lucky one will receive 100k points.
2. Entry
All Finnair Plus members who have updated their personal information and preferences during the campaign period 7 October–31 October 2016 can enter the raffle. Persons under 18 years of age cannot enter the raffle. Employees of companies who participated in planning and implementing the competition cannot enter the raffle.
3. Registration period
The registration period for the raffle is 7 October–31 October 2016. The prizes will be drawn after the registration period has ended and winners will be notified personally.
4. Drawing the prizes
Winners will be drawn among all the Finnair Plus members who have updated their personal information and preferences on their member account. The prize will be drawn after the registration period has ended. The winners will be notified personally. Names of the winners will not be published on the website. The Organiser is not responsible for technical problems arising during the competition period due to faulty internet connections (for example server malfunctions).

1 person 100k points - 2 European returns or 1 return longhaul upgrade. Not really narrowing the upgrade pool. (but I updated everyone's profile )

No fear that this promotion will go unnoticed. Today they added a pop-up/take-over to remind people of the "promotion". Great - so now we will see this add ten times a day... (the "don't show this again" option never works...) Interesting, since most promotions are hidden and never advertised at all. I guess they really are looking for profile updates.
Juniors are of no interest to them, as usual...
Sometimes it helps to switch to "page 2" yourself ("Your preferences"). Only from that side you ca save profile.

Nice promotion: HEL - CKG in J for 1299€ for travels between 21st October and next April for AY+ members. Really great that for travels from mid January on the price is always 3998€. Is that a feature or a bug?
