Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

I have to say that I'm very happy with the Travel Fair offers ex-HEL (https://www.finnair.com/fi/gb/messuhinnat) - especially Xi'an, Chongqing and Guangzhou for EUR 1200 in C. Two of those plus my normal flying patterns should get me to Plat during 2017.

I'm so unlucky with CAN - I always seem to go there in March when AY doesn't fly there... Now it's a PITA to work out a visa free transit with AY - with TK it would be easy HEL-IST-CAN//HKG-IST-HEL. Maybe I'll do that to renew TK *G until 2021.

Hartsa - did you mean you are or aren't registered as living in Finland when you got the points? I don't think it was clear it was non-Finnish residents when I signed up, someone pointed it out on this thread, but I've still not had the bonus despite as far as I can tell fulfilling all the other requirements. Seems it was the residency one I failed on?

I've received points on promotions both when eligible and when not eligible according to the T&C of the promos. It is always a bit of a gamble

Huge ticket discount (/s)
Just spotted this on 'Finnair Plus' main page when logged in and on the Finnish site; about 3/4 of the way down, there is a really difficult to read (white text on mostly white or light coloured image) text stating 'Enjoy Travel Fair for less:
Use the code FINNAIR17 to get 4 off regular adult ticket price'.
Initially, I thought this was 4 off plane tickets, as their current sale is called the Travel Fair Sale (as seen on the main page of the website. So it would make perfect sense that it was a (tiny!) discount from those prices. But no, if you click through, it's 4 off tickets for a travel fair exhibition in Helsinki. And possibly also a caravan fair, and 3 or 4 other fairs, but that's not clear.
So tiny flight discount excitement over, but if someone wants to go to an exhibition in Helsinki you might be able to get slightly reduced tickets...

Any experiences on when you get points for "2000 points for one short-haul flight, 5000 points for one long-haul flight" promotion? I enrolled, got confirmation of enrolment, flew long haul 10 days ago but haven't got the points yet.

My +2000 posted with the short haul, within a few days. Flying long haul tonight so will see..
